Their fans are gearing up for football season anyways.  GO BIG RED!

So, it looks like the guys had a great time...got to spend some quality time bonding and playing hoops.   They went 4-0 and (as far as I know) didn't suffer any injuries.   I'd put

Nebraska has had its fair share of players who deserve an apology (Benny P and a young Tai Webster come to mind) and it wouldn't surprise me if Thor is next on that list.

Iceland: Green most of the year

Thanks Coach Bombay

Edit:  Not being snarky - sorry....should note my reference for those un-acquainted:  D2 the Mighty Ducks (somewhere between Citizen Kane and the The Godfather for the greatest cinematic achievements of all time)

Maybe it"s the volcanos. And I agree with mwm89 about Mr. Haney. Buttram also was Gene Autrey's sidekick. Autrey "the singing cowboy" was also an owner of the Angels and became one of the wealthiest men in Hollywood.

As an Angels fan, I am very appreciate of Mr. Autrey. He was the 'real deal'!

and Thor

A couple of things about Thor...

1).  I didn't know his English was as good as it is, he's a native speaker, and

2).  He says winters are colder in Nebraska than Iceland.  That surprised me.

Thor's a good dude, that much was obvious from "The B1G Trip" and I'm certainly happy he's still a part of Nebrasketball. He could be an unsung hero, as far as internal leadership when it comes to being a calming effect for his teammates.

Dude has Iceland running through his veins.
