Rollie Massimino, who lead Villanova to an upset win over Patrick Ewing's G'town Hoyas in the 1985 national championship game (behind a sterling performance by Ed Pinkney) has died.

That was quite a memorable game when Nova beat G-Town in '85. IIRC, Nova shot 77% from the field to defeat the JT-II-led team that was in the Final Four three straight seasons.
