Here's the way I see this game.  It's a microcosm of Illinois season.  They started off 12-0.  Then they tanked.

 

They're up by 12 at half.  Now, they tank.

well, this is all rebounding and to a lesser extent, our ball movement on offense.

illini just playing with high energy.

 

not much we can do against this except hope their energy level drops quite a bit.

How did you get your hopes up?

By reading all the hype on here. And some of it is me wanting them to do well.

We all want them to do well and not one of us does not get upset when you see crappy fundalmentals (i.e., not boxing out, etc).  But most of us figured wins in conference would be a dime a dozen.  No reason to let yourself be let done this year.

It does given the coach before was not a good recruiter, great guy, just not good judge of Div 1 talent.
