But knock yourself out by continuing to relish in some reference to "make it all fit" for ya, for the second time, so you can crown yourself the most clever poster. This is all quite funny as you are literally visiting this site from east of Omaha via this account you started with a fake email. A fake email is one you create just to troll a message board and that you don't check to see if anyone actually emails you there, like me. Just because you are full of it doesn't mean that everything is. On 12/26/2016 at 10:41 PM, eastofomaha said: Perhaps it would be a good time to turn the page. Silverbacked1 and Bugeaters1 2 Quote

Huskerpapa Posted December 28, 2016 Report Posted December 28, 2016 ...and this is sort of funny. I was listening to Gregath & Smith on 1480 ESPN radio this morning coming home from working out. They had a trivia question...the question was what US City is mentioned in Bob Seger's "Turn the Page" -- this is either ironic or spooky or both! Bugeaters1 1 Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 I was hoping the kid from Purdue would shoot it from half court tonight to see Franny pull his kids again, or maybe explode! Bugeaters1 1 Quote

HuskerFever Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 McCaffery is a disgrace. Another blow up with the refs at the conclusion of the Iowa/Maryland game. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 I would be surprised, but obviously I am not. Anytime Iowa loses, he loses "it" Quote
hhcmatt Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Most definitely this is how the rest of the conference felt about watching the Pelini show Silverbacked1 1 Quote
49r Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 who is the bald assistant coach for Iowa...the one with glasses? He seems like a pretty cool customer, and always really sharp dressed. jimmykc 1 Quote

jimmykc Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Glad I finally got around to reading this thread. And thanks, 49r for getting a ZZ Top reference in with all the Seger stuff. As for Fran, I just have to chuckle and think its funny how the night moves whenever I see him react to a loss. I only hope we can provoke a chair toss or something more dramatic than a furnace face and pout when we play them in Iowa City. Bugeaters1 and 49r 2 Quote

Pretty sure it's Sherman Dillard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherman_Dillard Two of the guys on Fran's staff were long time Div 1 coaches and the other guy has been an assistant with Fran for the last 10 years dating back to Siena. Between Fran and Ferentz Iowa certainly has a lot of continuity. Quote

So...kind of like Iowa's version of coach Molinari but with more NBA experience and less coaching experience. Got it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Molinari Quote
