Part of having an open scholarship is the ability to look at guys who bail on a team mid-year.

Here's a place to talk about the interesting guys until there is some real life smoke about the potential of a transfer here.

From Spain. Played at Canarias Basketball Academy. Offered by Maryland.
A bit limited offensively but is a rim protector.

After transfer redshirt would be have 2.5 years of eligibility left.

YES PLEASE.  Holy upside.  Put 20lbs on him and he'll be a force.  Great looking athlete.

There are 4-8 minute stretches in most of our games that our whole team is limited offensively!  IF the kid is interested I hope we at least take a look.

I'm hoping we will be good on SG with Anton, James Palmer, and Nana next year.

I think Nana will fill the 3pt specialist role.  I could see our rotation being (in no particular order):

GW - Taylor

Nana - Gill - Palmer

Roby - McVeigh - Horne

Morrow - MJ

Jordy - MJ

So it's still pretty backcourt heavy.  We need another big.

Anybody remember seeing Mr. Palmer play last year?  I seem to remember that he is a good player.  Should play a lot of minutes for us.

He only played 3 minutes against us last year when Miami came to town and struggled shooting from deep most of the year.  His FT numbers are also uninspiring.

After a promising freshman year he was buried in the depth chart with ESPN five star Bruce Brown coming in this year.  What you hope we got right in our evaluation and recruitment of Palmer would be why he struggled with his shot and whether or not he simply needed a year to build everything up.  Between either him and/or Gill we need to hit on at least one of them in 2017-18. Hopefully Gill hits before then.
