Sad for Ubel. Looking at this in a positive light....it gets Vucetic on the floor more which develops him for the future. We find out more about him. With Ubel...maybe we steal 3-4 conference wins. Without...maybe 1....not a big deal for this year for the program. Feel bad for Ubel, who was having a solid senior season.

Actually wouldn't surprise me if it is that way. Adidas is the lesser brand. We can go with more popular more mainstream brand...or the alternative...which is money. It's a chance for a powerplay/leverage by the institution

Considering the caliber of the schools that recruited the two....I wouldn't call them the same type of player.

I'm wondering whether it makes sense to take more than one more player in this class. As things stant at this instant, we'd have three ships to offer for next year. If we add an Atewe, that takes us down to two, unless we have some unscheduled attrition. I'd like us to have three spots to offer for next year because I think we can get in on the more elite players for next year instead of the sloppy seconds for this year. Think Fuller, Webster and Hawkins for '14. It might be a couple of bigs and a point or something like that, but that level of player (or possibly even better because we've offered some VERY good players and one or more of them might pan out, you never know.) Anyway, my thought process is I'd prefer to bring in one more guy this year and save the rest of the spots for the 2014 class. I'm sure there will be some attrition. Nothing against the kid...but it wouldn't surprise me to see Parker leave. Not sure where he fits in with Webster and Biggs coming in the next 2 years.

Atewe is the exact type of player that we need and havent been able to land in a decade+

This team plays real hard....have to admire that. But its worth repeating just how poor we are talent wise right now. Ubel and Talley, god bless them, are nothing more than role players talent-wise but have to do it all. Their effort is admirable. Almeida and Gallegos are not good players, but will have the occasional big games. Problem is they will also have a number of games that they disappear in as well and it will kill us. Parker isn't very good. Shields has a chance to be decent in time. Peltz is scrappy but shouldn't be getting playing time on a Big 10 roster. Said it before and I'll say it again....I wish we could fast forward til next November

Couldn't disagree more. Miles has never built a program by immediately having success. He didn't win a SINGLE regular season conference game his first year at CSU. In fact, you could even argue that the worse he does this year makes it easier to appear like he's trending forward in the future. If we have to start 5 walkons due to injury, the answer is to start scouting intramural games, not burning Deverell Biggs' redshirt. This

Creighton and it's not close. Home game-Protect the home floor State Presence- More momentum for Miles Prominance-Creighton is rated with an All-American. Oregon is solid but can't make the same claim.
