I'm wondering whether it makes sense to take more than one more player in this class. As things stant at this instant, we'd have three ships to offer for next year. If we add an Atewe, that takes us down to two, unless we have some unscheduled attrition. I'd like us to have three spots to offer for next year because I think we can get in on the more elite players for next year instead of the sloppy seconds for this year.
Think Fuller, Webster and Hawkins for '14. It might be a couple of bigs and a point or something like that, but that level of player (or possibly even better because we've offered some VERY good players and one or more of them might pan out, you never know.) Anyway, my thought process is I'd prefer to bring in one more guy this year and save the rest of the spots for the 2014 class.
I'm sure there will be some attrition. Nothing against the kid...but it wouldn't surprise me to see Parker leave. Not sure where he fits in with Webster and Biggs coming in the next 2 years.
