The program isn't at a place where it's producing a lot of diehard fans. When I was a student at UNL there were generally 3 types of student fans- Those who go as a social event Those who love a reason to drink and scream Actual diehard fans who clung to all things Nebrasketball I don't think that will change anytime soon. Even if we start winning consistently it's not too likely people will get into the non-con bottom feeder games. The recent increase in ticket sales is a huge win in my mind. As others have said, wait until the big shows come to town to pass judgement on the student section.

Lots of technicals this year. I think Terran's technical was questionable. He shouldn't have retaliated, but it's not like he shoved the guy to the ground. Hard to tell from the angles on the boobtube, but the elbow he took looked much worse. I think a double technical was fair. Biggs...why. The ref was right there! You just gave handed the guy the ball. If you're going to run your mouth at least know when to do it. Also- failing to get the rebound on missed free throws REALLY hurt. There were at least two times in the second half where they missed the rebound and ASU got points off of it. One of those times we fouled them on the put back giving them a quick 4 points.

A few things- I hope he can overcome whatever problem he was dismissed for. That statement shows maturity. He hasn't played a game this season, correct? Is there any way he would be eligible at the start of next season? Tried to dig up some info on a Georgetown board. One poster said that Otto Porter was option 1 and Greg was 1A. Another post said they both looked like candidates for the NBA draft...that's definitely exciting.

How is the ole APR for NU? We had a fair amount of turnover the last few years- any of that put us in danger?

I've grown quite fond of listening to Kent and Matt (get a damn game on common folk cable TV already). Mr. P. won my heart with the UMASS "THAT WAS ALL BALL" call. The back and forth with Matt after that was priceless. Ughhhh Kent you're going to get us in trouble uhhghhhh.

There's gotta be some story with Rivers. I may be too high on him, but I really think he's a key to keeping this team together through some rough patches. I'm baffled as to why he hasn't played the last two games.

WOW what a game. Glad I decided to watch basketball on a big football Saturday. CU with the buzzer beating 3 to win 75-72.

Went to Rodizio tonight. Nearly threw up after seeing that picture of steak. TOO MUCH MEAT. Highly recommend it though.
