I have mixed feelings when it comes to McCray, but it would have been great to have him another year. Each year I had high hopes he would get it together and play a bigger role, but between injuries and what appeared to be a case of apathy, it just didn't seem to happen. Maybe things would have came together in that extra year. The Martinez conversation will get interesting if he's not back after the bye week. I thought the whole qb controversy argument was dumb, but every week it gets stronger. If TA ends up starting the rest of the season and meets expectations, will TM even play a role if he's given an extra year? Dangerous situation for Bo. If TM comes back after the bye week and struggles Bo will be on an even hotter seat. If TM gets another year and the team doesn't rack up more than 9 wins fans will be steaming. Bo's future appears to be riding on one player right now...

I held my tongue on this just in case we got him, but yeah, not cool. I guess we don't know his intent, but to me it seems awfully childish. Maybe it's his way of acknowledging each fan base. Maybe he felt compelled to respond. Or maybe he was rubbing everyone's nose in it. I didn't know about the Washut tweet... For the record, I admit I would have never said that had we got him.

I think that the intro music as important to the players as it is crowd. It's their game- they should get to decide what pumps them up. I don't mind rap/ hip hop if the song fits the subject matter. IMO the Bon Jovi song is a buzz kill.

I must have missed that. I dug up a couple tweets from Matthew Atewe about the kudzu problem- "Yo, fam just dropped knowledge about kudzu. Kudzu from Fabacea fam, sub fam Faboidea. Ya plant a problem" "Kudzu got a better chance of developing in the south than I do fam. LOL" (Not a complete slam on Atewe, I just crack up at twitter talk)

Norm and company- No more words/references I have to look up. That's 3 in the last hour. Kudzu does sound like a serious problem though.

I'm not discounting the fact that he has made some pro-Ohio State comments/follows on twitter. It seems like he is choosing OSU. But maybe that is his plan until he shocks everyone on Tuesday. If he was trying to hide who he picked until Tuesday, he's not doing a very good job of it, and maybe that's what he's going for and his way of keeping the secret until Tuesday. That's an equally plausible explanation other than just assuming he's picked OSU because of his tweets. He also made the 'nobody knows where I'm going but me' tweet. There was also this tweet: @ElbertRobinson8: Keep sleeping on ER3 I like it!!!!! If he has chosen Nebraska, maybe this is referencing the fact that the majority of the tweets out there say he is choosing between LSU and Ohio State. But who really knows? We can speculate about what each tweet means, and yes, it seems like Ohio State is the choice but we won't know for sure until Tuesday. If OSU fans were over-analyzing everything like we are, they could look at the Harriman tweet, connect the dots, and say 'well, crap he's gone, obviously he chose Nebraska'.I'm preparing myself for Tuesdays news. But we just won't know for sure until then and to think that twitter is going to provide a truthful answer is just not very smart. Honestly, with all of the bad mojo, I still feel like we have a shot. I think the coach(es) flew down to Dallas for a reason. I think that the way ER talks, he knows it's about more than playing for a big time program. You make a good point about what outside perspective would be. Funny thing is, they don't seem to care as much as we do. Sad.

I'm currently leasing an apartment that has a "mandatory" cable fee. Time warner supplies the cable to the buildings and the complex pays them. Because of this I don't have an individual account which means I miss out on all of the espn360 (or is it 3?) and BTN online games. Really stinks. I hope BTN picks up a couple more.

Going through this again really makes me appreciate Hammond. Dude didn't mess around.

I think that's the most important thing to remember. Last time we tried decode an 18 year old on twitter we were all burned. Time will tell. However, I think that him following Braxton may be the most telling twitter action. I don't see why he would bother to do that if he wasn't going to OSU. It's possible they met when Elbert visited, but I would think the chances of that are slim. Following the BMOC of a school you don't plan on going to? Odd. Especially since Braxton isn't a very active tweeter. (Disclaimer: I do not understand twitter. Nor do I care who tweeted, twitted, twatted who. It is a fun source of gossip, though)
