It's not that Roby is Royal, but the connection is obvious. Roby+ time= Row time. 4th row (number of letters in roby's name) will likely win some kind of Runza/pepsi promo this year. I just feel like that's enough for me to consider this an exciting sign. I've never followed logic in life. It makes a lot of sense not to. As you already know, WE WILL WIN.

in Iowa City on men's BBall visits that made it more fun for Ed than visiting Nebraska? (see media thread for those confused) I don't think this is a matter of personal preference. They do well recruiting. It can't be as simple as bringing recruits to Iowa vs Northern Iowa games and winning them over. Anyone have insight as to what happens on these visits? More importantly HOW CAN FRAN (A DUDE NAMED FRAN) PROVIDE MORE FUN THAN TIM MILES?

Terran apologizing was huge for a million reasons. At that point in the season, I for one, still questioned whether he was selfish or good. I knew his reputation from Tech. I didn't know what to think. The dude has shined in a positive environment imo. Watch Nebraska's game over again last night. Ameer/Bell/Westerkamp...the ones called out on twitter were the ones quickest to give helmet pats and pick other players up. Don't get me wrong. I want to see my team win. At the same time, looking at the big picture, it's nice to see players show sportsmanship. Keep it clean, keep it classy...and WIN. WE WILL WIN.

I like what Ed has to offer. Highlight film is always hard to interpret, but it's hard to ignore his talent. My question is, where does he fit? Can he play the 4 in college? If he's stuck at the 3 does he get lost in the deck for a year (which could be hard for a top 100 kid to swallow going to a school like Nebraska)? Can we fit him into the 4 without ruining his full potential as a player? Will we spend 10+ mins a game with him at the 5 (see Sadler, Doc). Anyway, back to the point of the quoted post. If I lead anything off topic I'm sorry. It's because I'm drinking whiskey. To be honest, my posts sans whiskey are non-existent. I wouldn't get too upset with people being sarcastic/shootingforlulz/pal-ing around on a message board. It's what kept me reading this site for years. That is fantastic size for a wing his age, summer after his sophomore year. As an aside, I promise I won't talk about kudzu even if this thread reaches 50 pages. <---- That's tape over my mouth on the subject of kudzu. If he is 6'7 at this point I'M IN.
