  1. Maybe they could hire Rob Childress, again. . .
  2. Agreed. It's B1G Business.
  3. That's certainly possible. Troy Dannen is his name. He's a nice fellow, I met him on his 1st day on the job while in Memphis for March Madness. I hope it works out well, for all parties. I'm not happy at Trev but I clearly don't hate the guy, either. It was a business decision, I'm sure.
  4. Ironically Trev didn't get a raise at all. He got a shorter deal, in fact. This move was about Trev not liking the potential new President, Jeffrey Gold, yet I will confess that is strictly my opinion.
  5. It will be paid tickets, undoubtedly.
  6. I think two additional exhibitions will be made available to view, if I'm understanding the new rules on that.
  7. So, the NU schedule can't be too far off from being done. They'd just need to know how many home games, tbh...
  8. Teams 12 to 18 would amount to 7 teams. So, 11th out of 18 is a whole heckuva lot better than 11th out of 12.
  9. Go Tenn. Beat the Ags. The last no. 1 overall seed to win it all was back in 1999. Tenn. is the no. 1 team.
  10. Mays was a 24-time All-Star. And the definition of a five-tool player. Incredible amount of talent and toughness.
  11. Griffiths is ostensibly a taller guard; perhaps he becomes a forward on the defensive end.
  12. "Exhibition season" appears to be better for the fan experience, perhaps.
  13. Scoring margin may have been de-emphasized in 2020, but it certainly didn't go away.... style points equate to offensive efficiency!!
  14. Surprised the Big Ten and the Big 12 haven't pursued a game, as of yet. I suppose they already have one against the SEC.... the B1G-ACC Challenge is the only one remaining for the Big Ten, since the Pac-12 is no more a consideration.
  15. Thanks for the snazzy graphics, dimes. That St. Mary's game will be a fun one in Sioux Falls.
  16. Dat's the one, TOMINAGAMANIA! Along with Brice is nice.
  17. The two finalists are Gabe Cupps of Indiana and Keisei Tominaga of Nebraska. Vote early and vote often! https://nil.store/pages/awards?_kx=sdOg-PFCGYD-98rVveJx-LDyllXA-7YDwL3x2kzWMas.SNrLVV
  18. K-St. was the game I realized they were the 'team I wanted them to be' in Hoiberg Hoops from the beginning, despite what happened against CU at home. And, yet, don't forget 18-1 at home, oh yeah, that 1 L was tough one to bear but 18 dubs were NIIIICE. I liked the heart & hustle that this team displayed, THANK YOU JO!!! Glad that Allick will be around to 'teach' the squad as a G.A. -- and the 5-out offensive system with the 3-ball, so so nice to have Hoi-Ball be in effect, as mentioned from the top, with excellent help-side D, it was truly a dream season despite how Memphis & the BTT played out. Fav Player: #30 in the starting lineup and #1 off the bench 2 Most Important Players: Juwan & Only, and Brice is Nice Best Memory: Memphis, those first 7-8 min. were ecstasy Most Frustrating: Illini x2
  19. It was game 4 and it was a 38-point victory by Dallas, who came a whisker from 'winning' the overall margin of victory despite losing 4-1 in the series.
  20. That's true, but I think it's a disservice to the team's accomplishment to not recognize that other teams had to game plan for those dudes. At least Hoiberg earned Big Ten co-Coach of the Year, I suppose that's the acknowledgement of a great coaching job to get this team to 23 wins in 2023-24.
  21. Looking back at this, I'm still a little pissed that Keisei didn't garner 1st team consideration, and Brice 2nd team. Nebraska deserved better representation as the 3rd best team in the conference. That's the travesty.
  22. I presented mine, but it's doubtful that they'd want to use a name that leads toward a presumed next national title.
  23. HECK YEAH, BERKE FROM TURKIYE! Berke was the one dude that could transform the roster for matchups on the court. He, along with Brice Williams, will be difficult to guard due to their length, vision, and athleticism. I agree, 2024-25 can't get here soon enough. GBR Always.
