I had the same sentiment for basketball season, I'd have loved to have won the Big Ten Basketball Tournament. At least the Boys of Summer 'got it done'!!
We had this same discussion during the basketball season, personally I'd want the rings and a trophy. So, yeah, that mental fatigue might have been an issue today. Florida probably felt like they were given a gift at 28-27 going into today's ballgame to face a 'tired' NU first up.
To be honest, I wish NU had pitched Sears tomorrow. Oh well, guess we shall see what happens now... not all that great to have lost the first one in a Regional, never even had a lead. We will move on, but that felt like a bit of a gut punch.
Maybe he could go ahead & dock his own pay for going to A&M, since A&M is the one paying $79M for a coach to go away.... sounds like a 'you' problem, Trav.
Started the week likely playing at Fayetteville or College Station, and may be ended the week -- with those 5 (B1G) straight victories -- to hopefully be at one of the 4-6 lower-seeded hosts, perhaps, instead of at one of the 4-6 top-seeded hosts. We shall see... GBR Always.

After a week break, the Cornhuskers will return to competition to compete for a chance at the conference championship title for the NCAA Big Ten Championships on Friday and Saturday April 5-6. The meet is set to take place at State Farm Center in Champaign-Urbana, Ill. at 7 p.m. (CT).
What an impressive run of five straight victories after that initial dud against the toxic-nuts, 15-2. The Huskers reeled off wins by the count of 6-2, 12-5, 4-2, 10-4, and 2-1. With the latter three wins occurring within 27 hours!! GBR!!!
