  1. Yeah, that was cool to read, tbh. Volleyball vibes are so different than just about any other sport.
  2. Yeah, that became more of a one-way situation to move on.
  3. DBK had just been in Omaha for the professional debut of LOVB Omaha against LOVB Madison this past weekend. Methinks the wheels were in motion.....
  4. I wouldn't expect that to happen unless KU collapsed like Louisville's only winning 12 games in the prior 2 seasons combined.
  5. He has a lifetime contract, I believe. So, likely not too 'hot'...
  6. Now there's some history, by a fellow rookie, Adem Bona of the Sixers.
  7. And, yes, that was a shot attempt. Of course the Phog, though... ughh.
  8. KU seems like a shell of their former glory.

  10. Wow. That's wild to suggest NU to drop a program that makes the 2nd most money for the Husker athletic department.
  11. Yes, I agree Bug, Britt Prince has a much higher ceiling than Jaz Shelley. She does a lot of really stuff as a true FROSH! The shooting today wasn't great, but that will happen from time to time.
  12. If Britt Prince is 3-6 on threes instead of 0-6 today, the entire complexion of the game has swayed NU's way. Doesn't mean NU would have won, but the 9-35 becomes 12-35 and the mojo might have been enough for NU to prevail. Tough reality that Prince is really good, yet even she was bound to have a tough day against a really good opponent.
  13. Anything is possible. Gotta believe !!
  14. 9-35 on threes is ultimately the difference in playing with a deficit as opposed to having a lead, that's the sad reality in hoops. The three-ball is a make-or-break thing for a team. We also have witnessed this phenomenon with the men's team, particularly the past few weeks.
  15. I'm kind of in the same boat, I wouldn't expect a turnaround to happen but it's not out of the realm of possibility. It will take a lot of soul searching by the squad. I do expect a spirited effort against the Illini, similar to what we saw from USC last time in a bit of a desperation mode. I guess we'll find out how resilient these guys truly are in the weeks ahead. I am still hopeful for things to happen that we probably wouldn't expect to happen at this particular moment in time. GBR
