  1. I want to say we recruited Herard!
  2. I wouldn't be shocked if Riley isn't coaching come our next game. He's a great person and ambassador for the program and school, but this just isn't working out. This feels so similar to 2007. The scary thing is: Who would you name as the Interim HC?!
  3. I love the court we have. I will be very upset to see the design go if they do go that route.
  4. I just threw up...like, all over, not just in my mouth.
  5. It is frustrating, agreed! But on the flip side, we have recruited quite well for a team who has been under .500 four out of the last five years with one NCAA bid. This year is critical, and I think we have the ponies to make a run. That would help recruiting even more.
  6. Maybe it's the #5, but the #5 for white plays a lot like our #5
  7. Could be the left-handed deal, but I see Manu Ginobli, especially his shooting form. I would be OKAY with that!
  8. Kinda reminds me of Lonzo as well (minus the crazy dad hopefully).
  9. I agree that we don't get as much coverage as I'd like to see. Almost everyday, there are practice reports for football. I'd at least like to see something similar for bball.
  10. I agree. With their spacing and shooters on the perimeter, I'd think Tai would have some nice driving lanes.
  11. Tai (Warriors) vs. Terran (Celtics) in NBA Summer League Vegas playoffs. Neither has played much. It'd be fun to see them on the court at the same time. It's really disappointing to see Petteway not do much. I'm pretty sure he averaged double figures the last two summers in Vegas. He doesn't even play double figure minutes.
  12. That looks like a good starting 5, better than some we've had over the last 20 years! 4 Rivals top 150s, one being a 5-star!
  13. We'll take him when he transfers.
  14. If we include Benedict Arnold III, 4. Just think, if Petteway stayed, 4 players from the 15-16 would be on NBA summer league teams this year. Shows the improvement of recruiting.
  15. That name goes perfect with Jordy Tshimanga! Almost like they misspelled it
  16. Tai is clearly the better all-around player, and their predraft videos show that as well. I really think Tai could get drafted.
  17. I'm hopeful that, like in the NBA or NFL, sometimes it just takes a player getting around the right players, situation, or in the right system!
  18. I can't believe he turned it down. I'm thinking he doesn't want to run with the big dogs!
  19. This is why Barnes isn't a real coach. And the Warriors are the NBA's version of that team in East Omaha that plays along the Missouri River. I can't stand them.
  20. Just read the OWH article...what a prima Donna...didn't feel wanted enough. Give me a break...
  21. Tai also worked out with the Bucks a week or two back.
  22. Those other message boards probably are the ones where multiple fans refer to players by their number instead of knowing their name, or they can't pronounce names right, or they get the first name right, last name wrong, etc.
  23. Like many of you on here, I can definitely see the +'s and -'s of this potential acquisition. I guess I look at it like this: much like Benedict Arnold III, Akoy would be on his 3rd school, which is typically a huge red flag IMO. However, with him being a local kid, this could serve as that "coming home" moment where the wrongs are made right. I believe that his tweet about Northwestern making us the only P5 school without an NCAA win showed that he wants to see that change, showing that he cares about the Husker program. And while he might be fabricating the "never recruited me" story, I think that part also shows that part of him does truly care and that he potentially wants to help us lose the 0-7 title. Lastly, this is his final shot.
  24. As a public $chool teacher, wow, those #'$ are ridiculou$.
  25. I see no reason why he can't produce very similarly to what Ed did. He appears to be every bit as athletic, and possibly even a better vertical. And a 7'4" wing span is ridiculous! I believe that is the same as Jordy's. Now one can say his numbers weren't great, but maybe being surrounded by better players will allow him to produce at a higher rate and level.
