I'm not 100% positive that he made the trip. An article I recently read said he stayed home.

One issue is that late games in the current set up, loses the East Coast audience. A 7 PM start on the Pacific Coast, is 10 PM in NY.

Well, that stinks. I cannot believe we weren't aware of this hanging out there. Oh well. We move on...again.

Hard and probably unfair to speculate. Each injury and the recovery from injury can be sooo different. I take the stance that she will likely play this season; however, I do not anticipate that she will 100% until next year. Again, that is simply an opinion. But that said, there are likely few people that will outwork her in the rehabilitation process.

Sounds like Jacobson had a pretty decent game while splitting time between point guard and center. 13 points, 9 rebounds and he absorbed a critical charge near the end of the game.

Sweet and sour sauce. Sour regarding the Ulis situation. "Gathering evidence" is not words one likes to hear. Not sure how good the adversary is; but it is nice to win a game/scrimmage. That said, we ourselves had a limited roster and it music to my ears hearing the point total for Williams and Wilcher.

I guess if you wanted to see more blood and pummeling, yes.

The man is wicked good. In my mind, it was a no doubter starting in the 2nd round.

Thought this may be interesting. Most of us have run ins with other husker fans throughout the world. I have had many, how about you? My most recent was last week in West Seattle. We were sitting in a neighborhood tap room called Ounces. A dude comes in wearing a Husker hat. I commented that I liked his hat. He laughed and said he was originally from Grand Island. He still watches the huskers; but really enjoys the atmosphere whenever he locates a watch party. Good stuff.

You're right; but then again, this occurs with nearly every player, any team and any sport. I guess if I feel bad for anyone, it is with all of the Trudy Third and Faith Fourths out there. They are the ones, who are often times, scrambling at the end in order to live out there dreams.

Coach Rhule did a great job at the Media Day in Indianapolis. Won another news conference...next up, start winning games.

I've been worrying about his recovery since he was first injured while playing juco. He has never appeared to be the same after suffering that original injury.

I wonder if consideration was given in postponing the trip a year? Was that even a possibility?

Yeah; but apparently those with inside knowledge is concerned with his shooting or something. I have watched him in some drills and believe in his game (and his shot), but that and a quarter still won't buy ya much these days
