  1. When is Keisei scheduled to be back? I assume he is taking classes this semester.
  2. I will be in the minority; but I would not let Allison see the floor unless she is 100%. She likely can be close at the start of the season; but that is not good enough. Allison plays @ 100 miles an hour. She goes full out, and plays aggressively. She is going to put her knee through the grinder as soon as she is cleared to play. You simply cannot change her DNA. If she is not 100% I fear another injury. Again, that may be just me; but I simply cannot envision Allison ever not be an aggressive player. Hold her for Big Ten play!
  3. Disppointing.

  5. I am not convinced that Diop will redshirt and I am not convinced that Mast is slotted solely as a 5. Remember, we strive to be positionless.
  6. Know what you are feeling. Must say, I have similar concerns.

  8. I grew up in a small community and our newish home did not have an air conditioner until I was a sophomore in high school. Then, we had a simple window air conditioner until I left for college. I moved into Abel Hall and it was air conditioned, I thought I was in heaven... Now, I struggle if the temperature isn't below 70. Sad. Here is how we survived back then. The house was closed up until the sun went down. Then, windows were opened and fans were put on. If we tried that today, can you imagine the break-in's and thefts. During the day we were always outside. We had ways to find cool breezes on even the hottest days. We also drank lots of water by way of water hoses. I guess most of us didn't know any better and it sure the hell was better than winter blizzards and snow drifts. By the way, what did anybody do to survive without air conditioning or heat in the winter? I remember my dad would always point out those people who probably had it much worse than I did. At least I could always run a little bath water and cool down, or run through a sprinkler.
  9. 1st thing to check...batteries in thermostat.
  10. A healthy Copeland.
  11. I am guessing that the power is within the Board of Regents.
  12. Nice article... https://english.kyodonews.net/news/2023/08/539f8c7ce102-basketball-tominaga-follows-in-fathers-footsteps-at-world-cup.html
  13. A lot of Florida students would like to see us contact Dr. Sasse.
  14. Rather shocking to say the least.
  15. Hmm, I'm not seeing a forecast yet on this kid, let alone a commitment. It sure seems like visits will indeed take place.
  16. We are witnessing the birth of a bona fide star who could potentially generate major buzz at the FIBA World Cup 2023 for the co-hosts. "What he’s really improved upon is his off-ball movement. He’s really gotten better at that. He really looks like Curry and the Nebraska coaches helped him with that, too.” Man, it is nice to hear this.
  17. I am making arguments out of frustration HUD. The WNBA has been around for 27 seasons. They have had a stage for some tremendous players. But yet, for basketball fans, sports fans in general and fans of specific players, it barely averages 5,000 a contest. Heck, take Seattle out of the equation and it would reduce that number even more. Why??? I guess my point, if there is a point to be made, is that Clark may derive much greater benefit sitting in Iowa City and playing out her elibility. That of course would include a hefty insurance package in case of injury. Heck, Iowa City and Des Moines are insurance capitals, so there probably is a NIL deal somewhere in her package.
  18. WNBA salaries The average salary among 151 WNBA athletes was $102,751 in 2022, NBC Sports reported. And this season, the minimum is set at $62,285 while the league's top-paid players are earning the maximum of $234,936, according to Spotrac.May 19, 2023
  19. According to On3, Caitlin Clark's NIL deals are worth approximately $739,000.Apr 10, 2023
