Pathetic, horrible, disappointing effort and outcome.

Ummm. Unfortunately the team must have been looking past Illinois.

You guys scare me...as in putting the cart before the horse. Nothing in our history should provide us that ability for wishful thinking. Again, I would love nothing more than to place my rose-colored glasses back on; but we cannot afford to think beyond the next game. Think KSU. Think MSU. Think St. John's. We cannot think beyond the game in front of us. Can we beat Illinois? Can we come out and out hustle, out physical and out play them and earn a win. Then, and only then, can we worry about the next game on the schedule. We shall see, game time is a bit over two hours away.

Isn't it odd, that you rarely see these types of blow outs in the basketball tournament???

...and speaking of Chris Beard, the national championship football game SUCKS. How did TCU beat Michigan. Harbaugh must be sitting in his bathroom right now vomiting profusely.

I heard a rumor that the post office could possibly be relocated, the building razed and replaced by a convention center. Not sure if that is a person's wishful thinking or whether there is some meat on that bone.

If by "we" you mean the fans, then we have met and oftentime exceeded expectations. If by "we" you are referring to the team, then we have met expectations perhaps two of the years, but underperformed about six of the years and grossly underperformed about two of the years.

Don't know how or why; but this team is broken. Perhaps a simple tweak is all that is necessary, perhaps not.

Tough ass win against a struggling but gutsy team. Really liked that we limited the number of 3's that we shot. Really liked taking the ball to the paint. Really liked our work at the stripe. Good effort and a good win. We are the better ream, but didn't always act or look like it. Need to keep the MOJO going and tske care of a struggling Illinois team.

16 - 21 from the free throws line. 77% --- pretty good recovery from the MSU game.

I'm not sure anyone had a "bad" game; but Griesel, Walker and Gary had exceptional games.
