Looks like the Wyoming game was a hit because they are going to do it again. Nebraska Football "Watch Party"Sept. 7 @ 5 p.m. See the Huskers take on Southern Mississippi with all your friends. We'll have the game on our giant, high-definition Panasonic video boards. KIck-off is at 5 p.m. We'll open the doors at 2 p.m. I think I might make it down there to watch the game. Last week I was at Fatso's in San Antonio watching. Althought the BBQ was good I think the TV will be a bit better this week.

Wacker is a 4 year kid, is Elbert? Maybe we take Wacker even if Elbert signs because he may only be here 1-2 years. Just a thought. No inside information.

I know that Brandon was at best a role player type of kid. But I will measure other recruits against his heart and willingness of team first. If we get great talent who are good people I will be very happy.

Greatest song or chant at a game is when England says "If you have ever won a war stand up" to the Germans during any soccer match. Can't find it on YouTube. Soccer matches are unreal, mostly fun but they don't pull any punches.

Okay now lets get some ideas for the intros. I have always liked when the visiting is announced and nobody says a word. Or reads the paper. Loved the Evil Empire theme song before we introduced some teams last year. Also would love to have the guy back in the day when ND was good when Digger was there. His first thing out of his mouth would be "Do you want them?" He would say it a couple of times and get louder each time. The gym would be going crazy. Then he would start with the players. Really need to hear it to get the whole picture. Will try to find it on YouTube. Was like the Bulls, 76rs and Pistons in their hay days.

I think it would be cool if you did start a large card sign to "call in the play" It would be different and it would allow for everybody to be on the same page. You know that the tv guys would be all over it. And until the students get it together, because you will have a ton of newbies this year. You could just have print outs to help them. Heck they could go buy the arm guard that football and catchers use to have on them. Could be cool or not.

Back when I was in high school. If somebody fouled we had one guy yell "Who did it?" and the rest of us would point and yell "He did it" Then the guy would yell again "Who did it?" we would yell back "He did it" and then we would all yell "DON"T DO IT AGAIN." Was kind of cool, but it was in the late 70's, and so was short shorts and long socks so that it for what it worth.

I also agree we need to get rid of the left, right.. In big games the other player doesn't care or even hear it, most likely. But in games that are either over or we are getting killed the other player makes the crowd look stupid with the fake sit. Something will come up soon. Have an idea but is kind of stupid. Have the band, if they can you know if the B1G says it is okay, play something like " Happy Trails" I know kind of lame but we need something different. I also like when a school does something strange or different that others don't understand or like. "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" is a good example. Hate it but Kansas people go nuts for it.

If we get Wacker and Gilmore, somebody got to leave then right? Maybe Tai is a one and done.

Kamdy and ajb are spot on. We really don't know what is going with the coaches. Can we get Gilmore, think it is possible. Deng maybe, Bolden, don't know. I would assume that we have made some kind of contact, maybe it has all been settled and we are already out. I just trust that the right guy/guys will make it here. It is fun to guess though.
