We talked about him a while back and I think it was Kamdy that said he knew the family and would be surprised if he left.

Wow and we aren't even talking about Mencke. I mean you don't even have one of our scholarship in the rotation, we have come a long way.

Watching my sons blow up around $300 of their own money, eat with friends. Then the 5th going to see Jr. Brown at Zoofest. Oh yeah and probably sweat off about 5 gallons of body fluids. Also Happy Birthday Sea of Red. Cool to have a "famous birthday".

But an N on it that only lights up when the Huskers are using it at that time. (In any sport or activity.) You know kind of "we'll leave the light on for ya" kind of thing.

I like that we have some depth this year. We are coming up with all these different starting line ups and we haven't even talked about guys like Biggs and Rivers. We can switch guys and play different ways. We can play tall or fast. Maybe even have different units to put in to do certain things in games. It would be fun if we had a unit that checked in during games that could give a spark to the team and get the crowd fired up. i know it kind of a gimmick but it could be something to think about. We also might be able to survive some injuries if they happen.

Do I want somebody like this? Yes. Do I want a kid who is flipping only because a coach leaves? Not to sure. I know kids want to play at different schools for different reasons but wanting to go to a school because of the school, and what it offers, is on the top of my list. Just my $.02

I think Kamdy made some comment some time ago about not being able reclassify anymore. In other words, once you've declared your graduating class, that's it and you can't change it. Which means his clock starts running, I take it? Kamdy would be the guy to ask but I'm pretty sure he said that wouldn't be possible. Man can you tell that I'm on summer vacation? This is a trick question, Norm. There is no indication of the direction of travel of said Kiwi. If he doesn't qualify he is young so maybe a year at Prep school is in order. Just a thought.

Good everybody seems to have a good sense of humor. May need that during the season when the games don't come out our way and the winter gets cold.

I did watch half of the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th last night. And I will say if all games where played and called like that, I would become an NBA fan. It was just a good, well played game. No flopping, bitching about calls, no showmanship. Just good solid basketball.

That is why the time it would be played in would make a huge difference. If they called it like the 70's or 80's today guys would foul out too quickly and then it would be starters vs backups and the old guys win. Plus the younger guys wouldn't come out of the locker room if they gad to wear the shorts they wore back then. BUT if it called like it is now, I think the younger guys might win. It is hard to adjust to the way the game is called if you have never played any games that way. p.s. this is one of the best and fun discussion we have had on here in a long time, maybe ever.
