Okay because I want to get this to 45 pages tonight. Here is a new idea that just popped into my head. If we don't get Elbert we... wait for it... wait for it... Keep the it open and we get 5 in 2015. I mean we have maybe 5 really good guys on the vine for 2015 and we just wait. Just something to think about, or we do have that 7 foot 10 inch Aussie in the wings. Okay I'll hang up and let you guys talk about this. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I think this whole thing is getting to me.

Let Bon Jovi be our entrance music?
-
Cip could that be the year we win a game in the dance? I kid, I kid:)
-
Wish he could give us a time for tomorrow. Do I stay up and see if he tweets at 12:01 or do I get up at 5:00 and keep refreshing my tweets every 10 seconds? So hard to make up my mind. Wait now I know how these high level recruits feel, I can't get my work done because of the pressure.

Mostly I listen to it if I have to take one of my son's cars. They listen to it some rap, and I don't know how to go to radio on their radios. So I either listen to their cd that is in or just turn it off. Hate driving and it is quiet so...
-
Also Norm need to add rap is okay in small doses. I call listen for awhile, but not more than maybe 5 songs in a row. But that is how I am with all music.
-
Heck why doesn't somebody just tweet him and ask him where he is going. Say something like I will be traveling tomorrow and I know that I won't have any service to see your answer so could you please tell me today. Also throw in that you won't tell anybody, ect... Use the word please a lot, I found that works really well. Maybe we could get a young lady from UNL to do this for us. Hey, no harm in trying right?

Bon Jovi for Nebrasketball: Do we need to stop it?
Silverbacked1 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
That's why I hope they talk to the players to see what they want, then get input from the Redzone. Us old farts will just stand up and tell them to "turn that crap down, and get off my lawn" anyway. -
Bon Jovi for Nebrasketball: Do we need to stop it?
Silverbacked1 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
It could be played earlier in the night maybe when the kids go in for the last time. Don't mind it but like somebody else said not for them to come out to or for many years to come. And in the end the kids are the ones who need to set it up, we need to back that. -
Nah He'll go to Georgetown without a trip of any kind,
-
Tuesday morning he is going to be in the shower and suddenly he will get a feeling that he needs to become a Husker and get the ball rolling here. He will announce us as where he is going to go to school and tOSU will be all "how did this happen?" And we will be like "things happen" And tOSU will be like all "We calling the NCAA" And we will be like "Go ahead, we don't care" And then the NCAA will find it is all on the up and up and we go to the Elite 8. And there will be much rejoicing in Nebraska.
-
Well on Tuesday we will hear the fat lady sing. Hope the song is "There is no Place Like Nebraska" but if not thanks for the ride Elbert.
-
Maybe some kid form down under is looking into a prep school in the Dallas area and Harriman is going down to translate for the family.

Free Rivals article - Miles Press Conference

Two words... Brandon Rigoni. Bro is taller and heavier and maybe faster(?). But he could be the same kind of heat seeking missile Rags was. -
Wow isn't even going to visit Georgetown! Goodluck might not have helped us much.
-
Don't they just use ethanol Norm? It is cheaper and clean burning. Or so I've heard.
-
I will say I enjoy how the coaches seem to be very open (or as open as they can be) about the who, what and where they are going to find kids to come play for us. I know that they can't come out and say this is who we are after or visiting, but they do let us kind of get an educated guess about it. I don't get to high or low on who is or isn't coming here. I will worry more about them once they are here. But the guessing and talking is fun, ain't it?

Vote for you choice(s) for renaming the Devaney Dungeon
Silverbacked1 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Some late closing polls are fairing well for an incombent. -
I know we shouldn't take the time to do this but what clever name could we come up for McDermott? I say Herman you know from the Munsters. Okay we can now move this part to the other thread. Thanks Norm.

Somebody plus 49 r please. God do I hate my iPad with my fat fingers sometimes.

Vote for you choice(s) for renaming the Devaney Dungeon
Silverbacked1 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I thought since it was a polling place we couldn't try to get people to vote for our candidate without the MAN being called. -
Yeah seeing Nikko I don't know why anybody would be scared of him, or think he would do something to you.

this is my leading theory...to much is going on for Tim Miles, not to think he has at least a 80% chance of getting him. I mean were not going have to any big men of comparable size, nor are granting visits at this time to Deng, or Smith again, and we let wacker walk, and let pinder leave w/o a offer...this will be extremely interesting. I'm not sure I follow this reasoning. NU currently has a 6'10" sophmore, a 7'1" sophmore and a 6'8" 255 lb. junioron its roster. Miles has also already received a verbal from a 6'10" center who plays with his back to the basket (same as Robinson). Miles does not need to bring in another stiff big man just to fill a spot. He has the luxury of going after a difference maker like Robinson. If that doesn't pan out, he can look elsewhwere. As things stand now, if Robinson were to commit and Vooch stays on the team next year, NU will have 5 big men on the roster next year, with 3 to 4 of them being true post players. That is a lot of post players. I don't think we can read anything in to who has and who has not visited when it comes to Robinson.[/ Those are some good thoughts.

How about fouls per game? Bet Shavon killed him in that stat.
