    AND just in time for the start of Football season your Coach is under NCAA Investigation for having "illegal" practices (hello Mabel Lee) and hiring Advisors that are not allowed. On the surface it seems minor, but as it plays out and the potential losses pile up, things could get dicey for Wood River's native son...

    A fourth straight losing season will get Frost another year regardless of what it looks like. A FIFTH losing season (next year) will deservedly get him out the door. I certainly didn't expect some type of UCF turnaround/replication, but conversely, I NEVER thought I'd live in a World where Goldy the Gopher would beat us "badly" 3 outta 4 years...

    In 1989 Kirby Puckett became the 1st Baseball player to get paid 3 million dollars a year. Now, Doug F’ing McDermott gets paid 42 million by the San Antonio Spurs (for 3 years) No wonder everyone is trying to get into the NBA...

    We beat Oklahoma IN Norman, & they went to the Dance instead of us, & Eduardo Najara DID play in the NBA with Dallas I believe. That was another super good Nebraska team screwed by the Basketball Gods or East/West Coast bias....

    If you’ve been in the players lounge, the NBA jerseys displayed are Lue’s Hawks jersey (not Lakers) & Pike’s Bulls jersey (not Clippers) it would’ve been cool to have Strickland’s Vancouver jersey instead of Dallas & Mikki has about what 10 to pick from, & I can’t recall if any of his are displayed.

    When was the last time NU had TWO players in the NBA? Top of my head I’m guessing when Lue & Mikki Moore were both still active. Now that we’ve established a “Pipeline” (not like the ‘94 Football team) to the Pros the dividends can’t be overstated. It’s one thing to dangle that carrot, but it takes us to a WHOLE other level when Fred can deliver...

    They discussed ALL this at length this morning on the Dan Patrick show, then started to question what happens with programs in that next group Miami, Florida St, Washington. When they finally got around to mentioning Dear Old Nebraska U, one of the Dannettes chimed in with genuine befuddlement: “what happened to Nebraska”...?
