    Well that team in '05 that lost to Carolina in the Finals had some crazy record like 32-1, loads of talent. And who can forget when we curb stomped em at the Bob our first year in the B1G and made Meyers Leonard and Co. cry? Not me...

    Take this information as *anectdotal* but I remember hearing that during Bob Huggins time at Cincinnati he never had one player graduate. Not one. Not even some stiff on the bench who actually went to class, and look where he is now.

    Thomas should have been tossed when he kicked Roby at the outset. He looked like Ogie Oglethorpe out there most of the game and the Refs let it slide.

    Just an observation, his mechanics seem a lot better this year. Elbow is in, more arch. He doesn’t have so many flat “hot potato” looking shots. The kid’s dialed in and playing at a really high level. Like I’ve said before it’s easy to take him for granted.

    I do like the home whites with “Huskers” script circa ‘91, but I don’t recall ever seeing these road jerseys before. It’s not that I DON’T like them, I just preferred the traditional font. Oh well, They can wear old feed sacks as long as they keep winning.

    I grow weary of the steady drumbeat concerning “Miles on the Hot Seat.” This season is going to go as well or better than we expect, and God forbid he falls short, he shouldn’t be worried either way. Unless you have someone specific lined up, firing him just to fire him invites countless other problems.

    Some of those Husker dunks tonight reminded me of Houston/Louisville in the ‘83 Final Four... just sick. Now about those “new” road uniforms, the jury’s still out.

    Clemson’s loss to Creighton makes me think: A. They’re not as good as I thought they were & even on the road we better get a win. OR B. Their going to be pi**ed & come out highly motivated, especially at home.

    I’m not concerned about his 3 point shooting so much as his unwillingness to pull up from the free throw line in, elevate, and just shoot over people.

    I get that, but it's nice to throw your little "Step Brother" a bone once in awhile... Plus, I think it would great if all the D1 programs in the State were powerhouses, known for good basketball. At least Weslyan is holding up their end!

    I’d rather beat Creighton when their really good rather than really bad regardless of RPI or strength of schedule. Nothing is more humiliating than being stripped of your manhood when your GOOD. Just ask Harstadt/Gallagher circa ‘91!

    In a perfect World Creighton would win the Big East every year, & we’d beat ‘em by 20 points every year...

    Creighton beat Clemson? Granted it was on a neutral court, but I’ve seen the Bluejays play twice and was thoroughly unimpressed. Maybe Clemson overlooked them with the Huskers looming on the horizon. Regardless, we better get our s**t wired tight...
