This effort has been beyond impressive. Going against a team thats bigger, more talented, having their best game of the season and getting every 50/50 call from the refs. Effort has been outstanding

Their bigs get touched. Boom foul. Sheilds gets hit blatently, no call.

This teams inability to get a base hit with runners in scoring position has been mind blowning for the last 2 seasons. We had multiple chances to put LBSU away both games today and just could not drive in runs when it mattered. This has been a theme in the erstad era.

Howell, Burkamper, Waldron for the weekend rotation. Two new starters says a lot about what Silva/Erstad thought of the rotation last weekend.

Really need Burkamper to come back and pitch great. Our pitching staff has been in crumbles the past few gamesSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Burkamper back will be big. I would like to see them work Waldron in for King, if King continues to struggle.

Something needs to click for this team or were in for a long season. Right now its looking like Erstad is in way over his head.

I love DE, think he is a great guy, and great ambassador for our university.That being said, since he has taken over I really haven't had to much confidence in his abilities to get this team to be a consistent top 30 type ball club. We have the facilities, fan support and history to be top 3 in the B1G every year. I hate to say it, but I think the better choice for head coach would have been Will Bolt, that dude can flat out coach. Now hopefully this post looks idiotic when we make the tourney this year.

We're 280th in the country in FT attempts, and we have 4 tonight. I feel like were fairly aggressive getting the ball to the basket, I wish we could get to the line more.

You had to bring facts to the table....I was content living in a world where 17-18 wins guaranteed us a NIT bid.

17 wins gets us CBI no problemo... 17 wins and were probably an NIT team. ASU went 17-15 (9-9) last year and Alabama went 18-14 (8-10) and both were NIT teams being in weaker conferences than the B1G. I would go as far as saying we would be an NIT lock with 18 wins. NIT is a very realistic goal for this group.

Man that freshman in his second game went for 26 and 11, yikes. Were gonna get boat raced by the teams with a legit big.

Can we dedicate an entire practice to boxing out please?

I need to see a lot more of NW before I consider them a top 6 type big 10 team. Sure they are 11-1 but they have played absolutely nobody. Not saying they wont get there, but I could see them slip big time come B1G play.

why are we the only team in college basketball that cant get calls at home. I had to watch Kentucky shoot 46 fts at home last night to Illinois State's 10. Whenever Creighton is at the clink they shot 10 fts within the first 5 minutes of the game (which will happen against us in about a week). But we have a home game against at decent team and they get to the line 16 more times than us? I had to get that out, I can sleep better now. Thanks Husker Hoops Central for the venting platform.

This team showed us a glimpse of what it could be early, and a glimpse of what it was last year. That being said I think this team will continue to grow everytime out. Looking forward to what this group will look like come B1G play.
