I'm not going to count Tim out at this point, there is a lot of basketball to be played but to play devils advocate, here is what he's done at Nebraska to this point. 68-73 (.483) Overall 27-45 (.375) B1G 0-5 (.000) Creighton Miles has done some good things, gotten the NCAA monkey off our back and I understand why people think he should be given more time. On the flip side, I certainly understand why people would want a change.

Forgot about Daum, he is a monster for SDSU. Daum, Hollins, Patton, Thomas and Thurman would all start for us I think.

What Nebraska needs to be successful - I truly think we need something unique to us. We're never going to out Michigan State Izzo. We're never going to out Wisconsin the Badgers. We need something that will be unique to us (I'm trying not to use the word gimmick). I was at no sit Sunday, I think we could have beaten Duke or KU had they been at the Vault that day. I think maybe our something special could be "The Vault". I want to see a style that is conducive to the fans being on their feet and scaring the crap out of our opponents. Not a three man weave offense that in turn takes our fans out of the game, and keeps the players from playing loose. Now I don't know who the coach that could do that is - Maybe Miles wins 11 B1G games and gets the ship righted. Maybe a guy like Bino or Payne could bring kids in that play loose and make the Vault a living hell for opponents. I just think we need something that sets us apart from other teams, and makes Nebraska a destination for a certain type of player. Its hard to get kids into the Tim Miles, defense first, stagnant offense system and I truly think the current system works against our kids confidence shooting the ball, and getting our fans on their feet. *this may be a bunch of gibberish, but its hard to formulate that thought to paper.

Crowd isn't gonna get much better, I have a hard time believing too many people will be paying to see us (fresh off this loss) play against Southern, during winter break a couple days before the holidays. I'm sure Eichorst will be watching the attendance numbers closely as we get into Big 10 play. Miles seat will get scorching if we can't fill out that beautiful, expensive new arena.

*UCLA 102 Michigan 84 - That UCLA game is as loose as I've seen us play all year. Really wish we could go into games with the nothing to lose attitude. You can see a huge difference between that game and say Creighton (every year) and Va Tech.

I tend to agree with you, I think very highly of our young talent. But to play devils advocate, 3 years ago I was saying "Just wait until Hammonds, Hawkins, Pitchford, Smith and Fuller develop, then Creighton is in some real trouble." What remains to be seen is if this staff can develop these guys, and put them in a position to be successful.

I thought the same thing as the game went on, makes the loss a lot easier when we've had to deal with this exact scenario for 6 straight years. Actually think my CU buddies are starting to feel bad for me.

Yeah I'm overly negative because, like I had mentioned, my phone has been blown up by my CU companions. I like Jordy and Roby, but I also liked Fuller and Pitchford and Hawkins - just gets tiring repeating "Just wait until ___________ develops"

This is what happened against the last two creightons????? I've tried to block it out too, but the "bad creightons" have also beat us like a redheaded step child.

I have way too many friends that are creighton fans to be 0-6 in the last 6. Now I just have to counter with "yeah we suck" or "wait til 2020, when our good players hopefully develop and don't transfer".

Honestly as much as I hate Creighton, its hard to dislike McDermott. He seems like a stand-up dude, and I'm sure CU fans probably feel the same about Miles. As far as the game goes, I feel like this series has to revert to the mean eventually. Miles/Nebraska has to get one at some point. I would really like it to be this year.
