  1. That might be more embarrassing than a drunken liaison with a complete stranger in a men's room at the Metrodome
  2. If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one around to hear it; how does the husband know he is wrong?
  3. In road games against teams that qualified for the NCAA tournament, Nebraska's record was, from November 1999 through February 2022: 6-113; from March 2022 through March 2023: 4-7. So: Getting Closer.
  4. Keeping this guy from fulfilling his destiny as the ultimate Iowa basketball player was like fighting off the tides of the ocean with a broom
  5. Boise State is 0-9. At our current pace we won't be 0-9 until 2045. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
  6. It's a basketball player, not your best friends ex-wife
  7. Maybe my math is wrong, but 4 wins in 13 years might be a bit better than 0 wins in 84 years
  8. At this rate he's going to have to transfer at least two more times without coming here before this thread gets as long as the one for Matthew Atewe
  9. Virginia decided to replay the Pius-Wahoo ending of 1989. If you're name rhymes with "Irginia" you are done playing
  10. Denim is no slouch, but Downing...who has the vertical jump record all time, Downing or 6'2" power forward Curtis Moore?
  11. Kenny Walton did. Handy went to SWMS with Charlie Spoonhour. Charlie Spoonhour, who went 373-202 with 3 NCAA Tournament wins, who might have been the most successful head coach who ever worked here.
  12. The world needs Claude Renfro's, too
  13. Make it 2045, my odds of still being alive would be 50% greater. (Stupid actuarial tables, pushing the reality of your own impending demise straight down your throat.)
  14. Maybe whoever manufactures that invisible plow that he always seems to be pulling around on the court can pony up.
  15. Do they still play a 3 game series for the championship? He might get to 25 wins.
  16. The average Adolph has a better NCAA coaching record than the average Fred. Unfortunately our Adolph brought the Adolph average down. Adolph Lewandowski Alma Mater: Nebraska (1931) Career Record (major schools): 10 Years, 81-125, .393 W-L% Schools: Montana (57-62) and Nebraska (24-63) Conference Champion: 0 Times (Reg. 17. He needs to convert to LDS and take a 3 year missionary trip to a weight room
  18. Except that when we do, we still don't beat them very regularly (3-9 in 2014)
  19. Hoiberg: 2-46 in first 48; Hoiberg: 7-12 in last 19.
  20. It should have looked better, though, because Penn State (final KenPom rating: 19, NIT champs in a dominant fashion) definitely should have been in the tournament, and maybe also Maryland.
  21. 54% of opponents since Hoiberg has been coaching have been NCAA Tournament qualifiers. Under Miles it was 38%. That makes a difference.
