I don't think I've read a single post where someone brought up a concern about any of these guys not having a scholarship somewhere other than Nana (because he was suspended). Any sort of harshness you think you're seeing is solely about Nebraska telling some guys they couldn't play there anymore and most people understood once the initial shock wore off that it's probably a better situation for those guys to go to a team that's a better fit.

Technically you are correct: Anyone from last year's team is guaranteed to keep their 4 year scholarship at Nebraska. That doesn't mean they get to stay on the team in this case. Given the coaching change we were allowed to move any player off the team. Thus, any of the players who transferred could have stayed at Nebraska but would have to do so as a non-basketball player. This is having your (basketball) scholarship pulled. The event, which is free to the public, will feature a musical act which will be announced at a later date. I'd say the timing on when that blew up was odd....it was a fairly old rumor here. Was that about basketball or was there some other reason. No idea. Otherwise you run a fine line at times when you potentially give people more leeway because of how well they do their job. If there is nothing there with Moos, there is nothing there. If there is something there and it gets buried because he's doing a good job....that's the sort of thing that makes the Jerry Sanduskys of the world possible.
