Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua is 6'8" 230#. Real raw offensively but rebounding/blocks/rim defense is there. Reportedly he's pretty bright and lives in the gym.

Sipple thinks that Doc as a coach might be announced today and he knew that Doc was going to resign yesterday

Blues Brothers was on tonight!

Pull a page out of the Miles era and recruit like we only have 12 spots until the end of May

Glad we never opened that envelope -
Looks like it might be about time to welcome Doc back!

I wonder if he follows Buzz to A&M? He's from Turkey so he's not necessarily tied down anywhere geographically

Eichorst probably would have fired him had he also not been on shaky ground. -

Going back through Doc's old twitter account has been fun -
You're ok. You're with basketball folks here.

It wasn't yet. You have to wonder how many times in the last 7 years Miles has been kicking himself staying at Colorado St for one more year with that team that very likely puts him as a serious candidate to take over the Minnesota job. -
Did Chris Mullen resign or get fired? That's sort of what I would see this Boehm deal as. Boehm was eventually going to be moved from basketball and he either got ahead of it or he didn't. Hearing Lewis talk about roadblocks and possibly not getting guys admitted is exactly the sort of stuff that I've been ranting about on here for the last couple of months when I'm talking about *just hiring a coach isn't going to fix everything*. The counter-argument about Boehm has always been he doesn't hire coaches, he doesn't recruit players and thus our win-loss record is not effected. What about the staff positions we might not have been allowed to add? What about the guys we couldn't bring in? Doing your job "well" by possibly oversighting our program into mediocrity because wins-losses isn't a check point on your evaluation form to me would not seem to be doing you job well. Were we one guy away from making the tourney the last two years? Makes my blood boil to ponder that. There is definitely a middle ground between what we seem to be doing and what Oregon seems to be doing in terms of oversight/admittance. To reiterate what Lewis wanted in a program, it was everyone from the school president to the coach being on the same page and given the trust to run his program. He doesn't win enough or he brings in guys that are a problem, that's on him and you make a change. We're not bringing in Bruce Pearl here...we have Fred Hoiberg. Fred certainly should be given the latitude to run this program that it seem Miles wasn't afforded and the results should be on his shoulders.

Is he retained? It seems like Gates will remain N but planning to keep him isn't exactly retaining him and plans can change.
-
If he's one and done level it might not matter in 2022

Hsu was also rumored to be someone the St. John's staff was looking at before Mullin was bough out. I wonder if the change there put things up in the air. Also Hsu recently started following the St John's AD on twitter. Who knows.
-
lol I didn't get that far yet. The last two hours of the show are worth listening to. Also that is my retweet of Molinari from the Spain trip that Sharp is referencing
-
2009 Doc Sadler twitter was peak Doc Sadler twitter Back then he was probably keying this in on a flip phone via text message
-
This is the first time I've heard Molinari's name floated. Makes sense if we're looking for a defensive minded coach. I'd prefer Doc but Mo would work. I know Hsu is considered to be a recruiter. Is he also considered a strong defensive coach? If not are we looking to carry a staff a 3 recruiters or would signing Hsu mean no Gates? Randomly, Hsu was an assistant at Birmingham when Dylan Talley was there.

It's never felt so good to be so wrong! Doc has been tweeting non-stop about his new AD so I thought no way.
