Keeping Up with Old Friends (The Transferred Thread)

Samari Curtis isn't playing until mid-semester -
Nebraska started recruiting him early. Feels like the floor here is top 5 list.

St Johns just signed Esahia Nyiwe - 6'10" center - This was the only mention I found of him on the entire board. He had enrolled at Texas Tech but they recruited over him. Started at Iowa Western CC and spent last year at Clarendon CC

How much notice did we get from Florida A&M before the game was cancelled? I also think we will schedule a game on the week we have open but I don't think at this point it's impossible for a game against Oregon to happen until the Ducks fly home. One thing to consider is if we have a game somewhere around Dec 16 or so Eduardo Andre could be available.

2017 PG Parker Stewart -> Pitt -> UT Martin -> Indiana
hhcmatt replied to trickey's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
If he's a grad transfer he wouldn't need to sit out. -
We built in a 10 day buffer between Creighton and Wisconsin to schedule any new games. We could potentially move our matchup with Florida A&M there or else find a new team to play.

Guessing at some point she'll hope not at all

In the comments it looks like former Husker Leigha Brown had a family member saying they were thankful for being there and they're from Indiana so it's safe to say this is a family section. Does anyone know what the policy is for the B1G is they have one yet? UNL looked like they haven't closed the door on some tickets for B1G play so I don't think they have a 'no fans except for family' policy at this point. Nebraska's current restrictions are due to the city of Lincoln and given the weather and holidays I don't see the conditions here improving quickly.

That's the same season the Palmer hits that buzzer beater at home to save the day vs Illinois. They were a bad matchup for us that year. The game at Penn St where we benched Palmer and then clawed back to put it into OT and ended up losing by 2.
-
That loss occurred in the calendar year of 2017

I can somewhat relate as my 7 year old's pant legs were too short today and they were not last week.

uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 13; ed 4 - South Dakota
hhcmatt replied to Bugeaters1's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Three factors here: Teams know we're going to try and score in transition on every possession How much each team values getting back on defense vs hunting for offensive rebounds Our speed/determination despite the first 2. Generally speaking you can look at a coach's resume on KenPom and their OR% on offense and get an idea of their philosophy on hunting vs getting back. Some guys are consistent game to game, year to year. Others are not. NDSU and SD have been get back on defense teams. Steve Alford doesn't really have a clear pattern; we obviously didn't generate many vs the Wolfpack. Flordia A&M projects as a hunting for offensive rebounds team. Georgia Tech is variable. Creighton is a get back and defend team. -

I can't speak to your grievances but the previous season(s) data we have on Kobe, Thorir, and Shamiel is specifically what i'm looking at when noting I believe them to be better shooters than their current respective 26.3%, 21.4%, and 0% 3pt%. -

Kobe, Thorir, and Shamiel are better shooters than their current numbers. Banton is pretty key. Is Banton a better than 25% 3pt shooter over a season? I don't know. If he makes a couple in a row in a game is he going to jack up 10+. I don't know. -
The calendar year of 2018 was a magical time for this program. We won every home game during that period.

Nebraska can't really release any information about Andre as they haven't even identified him as the person who tested positive for Covid. To that point I'm not aware of how sick he might have been or if he was asymptomatic. The sit out period is a set length. I think the rational is that they want to make sure athletes haven't developed myocarditis. Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle which on rare occasions can result in heart attack or stroke. If he had a severe case/reaction, you could see him being physically limited for months.

The weird part is no one decided to Loyer up.
