i have no idea how this game is tied. we're shooting 32-30-58 shooting splits -

he's gonna be forced to play like this whether he wants to or not. too many extra shots without cope. -

we went with the same starting 5 that scored 8 points in 14 minutes. ? -

well it only took 14 minutes to figure out we need to play small ball. -
umm doesn't this announcement by the administration just confirm that moos might have had some questionable behavior over the past few months? if moos did nothing wrong, i don't think there would have been a need to make an announcement. just let the rumors blow over.
-
seems like moos is milking the frost hire and not doing much else... except drinking

i don't think anyone is expecting to make the tournament at this point, but i also don't think it's impossible to finish the season 7-6 and barely get into the tournament. obviously a change will be made if the current trend continues.
-
problem i see is that the wins we thought were really good are now looking really bad. clemson, seton hall, creighton, indiana may all miss the tournament. if roby picks up his production, i don't think we'll be all that much worse without copeland. like others have said, copeland injury might inspire the other guys to take their game to a new level.

more upside with nana. tanner's not going to outplay most bigs. nana can at least provide a matchup problem on offense.
-
Dr. Stephen Bardo.
-
also hopefully jordy feels good about leaving a team where he'd now be a starter. same with ed morrow who is playing 14 mpg at marquette.
-
this would be a good time for roby to realize he is good and be more selfish.
-
lue has a lot more star power than eddie jordan. he coached lebron and played with shaq/kobe. he's a champion as a player and coach. i think he could draw a lot of attention to the program. i have no idea if he has any interest in coaching at the college level though. i would imagine he'd want another nba job. penny hardaway had zero coaching experience and has the #2 recruit signed. i think name recognition can go a long way.
-
then i'd stop complaining because legendary coaches aren't knocking on the door to come here. not saying miles should be retained, but there's nothing to suggest we will hire anything more than an up and coming mid major like we've done the last 3 times around.
-
if you guys really want to be good. hire pitino and put a clause in his contract that his contract is void if he or an assistant commits any recruiting violations while he's here. boom. championship. how bad do you guys want it?

this is a rock bottom

ok. let's just not play the remaining 13+ games.

uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 11; ed 19 - @ Rutgers
FredsSlacks replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
these last 2 losses have been really bad. having said that we just need to finish the season 6-6 and we are probably in the tournament. i'm not ready to give up on this team. too many games left. -
Nebraska (13-5) vs. Rutgers (8-9) Game Thread

2nd straight game where none of the starters shot 50% or higher. offense desperately needs more set plays. talent only gets you so far. -
there's really no point in criticizing miles this season. he's either going to get us to the tourney or he'll be gone. what good does it do to talk bad about him? everyone should be supporting him to the fullest, but it's probably time to start over if he can't take a team with this much talent to the tournament.
