i think he'll be back. most the mocks list him as a 2nd rounder. he will have every opportunity to put up better numbers next year without copeland, watson, and palmer. if he is able to graduate early, i'd be worried about him transferring.

there was nothing for him to gain by doing a 45 minute podcast in the middle of one the most disappointing basketball seasons in nebrasketball history. yea. he shouldn't have apologized though.

miles probably treated kent well and has been great to the players, but the results are ultimately all that matter. 1 tourney appearance with no tourney wins in 7 years will get you fired at any power 5 school.

maybe the reason the administration has it out for him is because he hasn't made the tournament since 2014. regardless, doing this podcast during the most crucial part of the season seemed unnecessary. they are not going to fire him if he makes the tournament. this is not a scott frost situation where a new coach is already lined up.

i don't think moos has made a decision. he has no basketball connections based on who he has hired in the past. it would be a mistake to fire miles if he can even just take this team without copeland to a play in game.

it doesn't show me that tim is very confident in himself/the team if you go on a podcast and talk about how there's a good chance you are going to get fired. especially when this team is 1 or 2 wins away from being on the bubble.

i was not a huge fan of this interview. i don't need to hear tim talk about how he might get fired at the end of the year. how about just keep quiet have some confidence that you can finish the season 3-2 and make the tournament.

the basketball gods may be giving miles a gift. if nick ward misses the mich st game, that's a very winnable game. they could be without 2 of their top 3 players.

penn st game will tell me if we've actually improved. it's on the road and penn st just beat michigan. we can't afford any more 3-17 games from watson or palmer.

no. i would argue being a nebraska fan is a lot harder. collins won a tourney game in 2017. miles is way more likely to get fired than collins, and if roby leaves we'll basically be starting from scratch as well.
