They won their next game too so they made it to the round of 32.

Press break was embarassing. It reminded me of three headless chickens running around. I'm not sure what the deal was but you see better press break in middle school basketball. No more Petteway inbounds passes. No more Petteway on that half of the court. He really struggles against pressure. Also, it seemed Petteway got really frustrated and flustered when Ohio State cut the lead from 18 to 13. I knew we could be in trouble then. The rest of the team caught that same energy and couldn't refocus. Then with four minutes left I thought the team started playing better with Petteway on the bench. He came back with two left and the movement on offense went dead. Hopefully they are already moving on from this game.

No more Petteway as the inbounder. Actually, don't let him touch the ball until past half court. He has been bad all year with press break and today it came back and bit us. Also, get a few more inbounds plays. The one we ran was something you would see in little kid basketball. Guys running in circles and no screens isn't going to get it done in college basketball.

and yet we are 10-2 after Rivers started playing meaningful minutes...It also helped that Biggs made the choice of not being Us Always.

Glad to see you've come a long way from your withering criticism earlier this year (e.g. Miles hasn't shown he can manage a Big 10 roster). IMO, it was pretty obvious as early as last year he could flat out coach. Yeah and he couldn't. He learned and figured it out. Funny that we started winning when Rivers was seeing more than the bench. It wasn't just me wanting better roster management.

They better pay him one way or another. They've already paid Pelini for less results.

If Kent reads...Coach Miles is probably lurking around... Good job guys on letting coach know that Rivers should be playing. We've only lost two games since.

Better seed guys. A win would do us all good to come down from the Wisconsin game and refocus on the task.

A win Friday wouldn't just be awesome, it is necessary.

I just want Nebraska to win. A win tomorrow should lock up a spot. Then play for seeding in the conference tournament.

No. Too many stupid laws and lawyers already. Just ban them from future games or whatever. Expulsion for students would be damage enough.

Had the same thought. That circled N should find its way onto the unis.

They should have gone with the stripe too. That would look fantastic.

Offense stopped having any sort of movement. I'm not sure Rivers even touched the ball again after hitting his 4th shot. It turned into the Petteway and Shields bad shot show.

Can we please let Rivers at least touch the ball on offense.

Started very sluggish which I thought probably would happen but it didn't last. My biggest complaint was the press break not going back to the inbounder in the first half. Shields kept going straight into the trap. Parker and Rivers brought the energy. My co-players of the game. This team is fun and right now on the bubble. Picking up another road win @Illinois and it will be hard to have them out at that moment. Getting so close now. 10 and one in the tourney or maybe just 10 with a win over Wisconsin should be enough. Or...Just win out!

This game worries me. 4 game win streak coming up against a bad matchup. The Huskers should be ok with the game being at home but it may be more interesting than we want.

Great response by the team in a somewhat pressure game.

I wouldn't put Nebraska in yet. Still just a 14-10 team. Must win the next two.
