One thing Fred has been able to do since he has been here is get our shooters open looks from 3, so that shouldn't be an issue. Having those shooters make the open shot...that has been a different story.

At least one thing was settled last night. For those who doubted, C.J. Wilcher can dunk.

I agree, especially if we were still recruiting without being able to offer a NIL package. Maybe NIL gets us some higher profile players going forward, but I would hope getting in early on a kid and establishing a relationship will still be valued in the future and not just how much $$ they will get.

How about Jamison Battle with more guard skills?

Just based off his Hudl video and comparing him to other in-state kids we apparently are interested in, he appears to be the best of the bunch IMO. Good athlete, can create off the dribble and has a nice stroke from beyond the arc.

Good for him. One year at Memphis, three at SDSU where his playing time had diminished substantially from his sophomore year. I can see where he might want to go some place where he'll get lots of minutes during his final year of college ball.

Although I only root for the Huskers nowadays, at my core I'm a basketball fan and appreciate great play no matter the level, NBA included. All I know is the San Antonio Spurs played some the best basketball I've ever seen during the 2014 NBA finals against the Heat. I don't watch much NBA today (or college basketball for that matter besides the Huskers) but I certainly appreciate the talent and skill level that is on display there.
