2022 F Isaac Traudt - Virginia->Creighton
basketballjones replied to Navin R. Johnson's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Why exactly did they do that? Just so it was easier to keep track of home and away during the game, for officials? Suppose that makes sense. Probably easier to quickly see who did what. -
I hate charges too, if that wasn’t clear. But you have to have an offensive foul for when primary defenders beat offense to the spot and offense initiates the contact.
-
I think they have to get rid of secondary defender charges, increase (or add, for hs) charge circle size, and start being super mindful of WHO created the contact and go from there. Offensive players create 80% of the contact on drives and in the air and get rewarded for it.
-
I disagree with Markowski quite strongly. There’s no need to make the game MORE physical than it already is. Adding a foul without increasing game time will just have dudes playing insane.
-
He still had 20/8/5 and his game cut short by ticky tack calls while he was getting hammered on his jumpers. Millikan doesn’t airball midrange jumpers, clearly got hit twice on the arm.

18+ wins; no 3-4 straight loss stretches in conference play, ncaa tourney talk, continue to put a team on the court that looks like they care and are playing hard. -
Forecasting 2023-24 lineup
basketballjones replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
FWIW, they didn't, his dad did. And all players have access to their practice/game film and can clip things up however/whenever they want. Not saying that means anything, but just wanted to clarify. -

I hope you're right! But truly why did he redshirt then this year? He looks completely capable. -

100 Coins, split them up between does Ramel come back or is he gone: I'm 75 he's gone, 25 he comes back. We have been told he wasn't healthy... Looks pretty healthy in those clips? -
Congrats to those two!!!

What would hvae hopefully happened in the multiHuskerverse is that you stopped playing Gary and Bando at the same time all game. Start to get you going defensively, but then you stagger their minutes with other shooters being in there. What's scary is to ponder just how important Sam Hoiberg has been, and how little (never) he would have played. Seriously, he makes like the same 3 or 4 big plays to close out games every time. 1 huge 3, gets to the free throw line, gets a steal and/or charge. Some huge tip so we get an O rebound.
