2019 SG Jace Piakowski- Preferred Walkon
B-town hoopsfan replied to Huskerpapa's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Yes it would be, it would be nice if we valued shooting over athleticism in some of our guys. -
If that’s the case it’s a real bummer as luka was probably a potential program changers if he woulda been as good for us as he has been for Iowa.

No kidding so this is that mysterious recruit people refer to from time to time we lost due to miles contract?
-
Real easy to make the case that we have the worst tradition/history in the big ten

Him and every other dude that thrives elsewhere? Did we make his final cut?

2019 SG Jervay Green (Juco) - LOI

If he’s looking for playing time at the power 5 level we will be the place especially when Tim’s fired. If he wants to play for a winner welp we might be in trouble -
Now that is a good take. Is his girlfriend a junior as well?
-
Would hate to see it but if he transferred home to play for Illinois they would be damn good next year

The way this things trending we are gonna have a spot open late., -
Maybe he just found the website?

Rose colored glasses here but hopefully we are able to talk Allen into staying( liked what I saw today while he was point, and really like what he could be next year as the starting point) robys either coming back or grad transferring out if he has the option. Hopefully whoever we bring in sells him on catering the offense to him in hopes of upping his draft stock and he buys in. Arop has no where else to go(Creighton told him to go to prep school I think). If we kept green it would be a home run. Woods is gonna blow up I think. Heiman,Davis,Thor all come back I think. Not sure how the whole waiver thing would work with Burke. Also not sure on nana or Harris, neither had a whole lotta offers coming outta high school that I know of. You would imagine whatever coach we bring in would have some recruits potentially following him as well. The guy I’m advocating for T.J otzelberger has three guys committed that I’d take for sure.

Nebraska (13-8) vs. Illinois (6-15) Game thread

They aren’t going to solve it. AND By no means do I think it’s all glens fault either If that was how it came off was just stating how far his game has fallen off. This team has way more issues then just its PG -

He’s our hardest working and most consistent player we have as well. How in the flying **** do you not see this in practice. Why has he not been given 20 minutes a game all year. Why has Thor, who yes I can see is a step slow and probably not a big ten athlete not been part of the rotation, he works his ass off out there. I’m not even upset we lost st this point(sign of where we are unfortunately headed) I am beyond frustrated that miles didn’t identify these things months ago -

Watson has been a real trooper for this program. Probably the reason some of you became fans even. But this program will be better when he’s not our PG. he’s lost all confidence that he once had. Shocking how good he was as a sophomore to what he is now. -

Need to run the offense through roby today. He should be touching the ball everytime we are in a half court set -
No expectations, this is Nebrasketball

Would have to start making a lot more shots then we usually do. And break so many bad habits in a week of practice time. I figured our rebounding would be better w out cope, but was pleasantly surprised w how much better. We gotta just start by making the easy shots and tanners probably gonna have to give up some easy buckets in lue of fouling -
The only time he wasn’t basically an outstanding coach was in the nba. Where it’s more about managing talent then actually coaching
-
Brady would of had his struggles but after a very good game against Minnesota he got no playing time from there on out. Nanas minutes have been all over the place this year. Maybe he still struggles regardless but basketball is a lot easier when you know what your role is on a nightly basis.
-
They have good pieces they just don’t fit together real great this year.
-
Yup woulda likely crushed his confidence similar to what has happened w nana and Brady this year.
