Big One for Ohio state tonight

So you think we hold a “19 scholarship back for the “20 class? And aren’t we already over for the 2020 class w 2 commits and only roby being a senior? A grad or 2 would make 2 or 3 seniors I suppose

We would be bonkers to fire him even if we lose in the first round. Now if things go down hill here in the next series of home games that a different story the offense looks a lot better if we just hit our open looks(we rarely do) and start hitting our free throws again. The guys staying 4 years becomes significantly easier once you start winning. biggest knock on miles is he hasn’t been able to ever find a big guy. That significantly changes both the offense and our rebounding deficiency’s. Now we have already over recruited 2020 I believe so that leads me to think miles is confident he can land a ready to play grad transfer post. Can he? I have my doubts but will wait and see

We need them to beat Purdue tonight kyle is a pretty good player if you watch any Ohio st games. Doesn’t show up in the box scores but he does a lot of the little things.

Our talent just does not mesh well. Watson and Palmer take lots of bad shots. Copeland goes from heavily involved to not involved often. Roby and Allen just don’t take enough of there open looks. Some is coaching, some is player make up. And we don’t have anything to hide our glaring holes

I honestly think he would leave if he got the tournament win. There’s some AD out there that would take him for the same or maybe more money plus gets job security if we end up dancing and winning our first ncaa game. Hell look at the northwestern coach a few years ago he was a candidate to take over at duke after coach k leaves when they got into the dance. Now northwestern is a bottom half big ten team in back to back years.

I’m gonna hold off on researching who we could possibly get till after I see what happens Saturday but if we are gonna try to do this relatively cheap like others have stated moos tends to do T.j. Otzelberger from SDSU is our guy. Only 41 and was an assistant under hoiberg I believe at ISU. he’s built a nice program in brookings in only his third year. Just signed an extension in December but is only making like 400k this year

There’s about 5 top of the key threes he should be shooting every game. Even if he misses them that’s probably a better shot than what we end up w when he passes them up

They have two top 130 posts coming in this year too. 1 is a 5 star on rivals I think. Idk if underpants can coach but he certainly appears to be able to recruit

Hopefully taking a guy from the state of Nebraska every year for a few years will get us around that. It should be much easier to wait your turn when your within a 100 miles of your home. Will these guys be all big ten? Probably not but they should atleast be rotation guys
