Love the attitude from Watson. He could easily sulk from having an off game and shooting 2-12 from the field. It sure looks like he is fully bought into his primary role as facilitator. But, having said that, I would much rather have aggressive 2-12 shooting Glynn Watson then passive Watson because there is another 20-30 point game hiding somewhere inside him.

Well, aren't you a pessimist. I've been checking out restaurants and places to stay in San Antonio, home of the 2018 Final Four!!! I believe it was Uconn in 2010 or 2011 that was on the outside and looking in prior to ripping off 5 straight in the Big East tournament and then winning 6 more in a row to win the title. Unfortunately I don't think our resume is even close to Kentucky. Their losses are, at worst, equivalent to ours but in all reality a little better. They have 9 wins against the RPI top 100, one of which was at West Virginia (RPI #34). Of those 9 wins, 4 are against RPI Top 50. We only have three wins against the RPI top 100, with our best coming at home to Michigan (RPI #38), which is also our only RPI Top 50 win. We will likely be pulling for Kentucky to beat some of the other bubbly SEC teams (Miss St., Missouri, Arkansas, etc).

There are five sportswriters that understand good basketball when they see it. We are listed on the following AP ballots: John Feinstein - 20th (6 points) Terry Hutchens 21st (5 points) Jon Rothstein - 24th (2 points) Matt McCoy - 25th (1 point) Scott Mansch - 25th (1 point) So, I guess send these guys early Christmas cards!!! For what its worth, the local sportswriter for Creighton Jon Nywatawa does not list us on his ballot. Also, I'd like to petition that we make John Feinstein's ballot the official poll of HHC. So, I'm expecting to see the game thread tomorrow show #20 Nebraska (19-8 ) vs. Maryland (17-10)!!

New AP Poll is out and we've tripled our vote total and our up to #34!!! The 15 votes mean we are on probably 7-8 ballots. A couple of wins this week and we should hopefully triple that number again!

Andy Katz has us at #27 in his weekly Top 36 and this is the first time we've made an appearance in his rankings. Just saw this and found it very interesting. Wisconsin at 10-14 is a 1 point favorite over Michigan at home. Something seems a little off with that line, which likely means Vegas knows something we don't. Also, good win for Az. St over very bubbly UCLA. We need some more Pac 12 love and Or. St. and Arizona to win as well!

We have a two game lead on Michigan with 4 left. I'm of the mindset now that I'd like to see Michigan win out to possibly get into the RPI top 30 so we get that Tier 1 win and also to have them clinch the 5 seed. Penn St. scares the hell out of me and we just match up well with Michigan.

If a bubble team loses to DePaul at home by close to 20 points, they should be eliminated from all postseason tournaments, even the ones you have to play to get into.
