I like taking Roby out there to avoid a quick second foul as I suspect Miles inserts him when that Ohio St big man takes a seat -

This is the most nervous I have been since I gave my wife the honor of marrying me -
Well, we can only hope Vegas is as right about this line as they were about Michigan. I believe that means we should expect to win by about 13 points.

Spot on and very true but the reality is that OSU's chances of going undefeated in the BIG will be exactly 0% in roughly 10 and a half hours. So, to hell with KenPom's prediction!

SeatGeek has tickets behind the basket in 131 for $22/each. They also have others in the 100 level that are a little pricier. Anytime I come in town to see a game I usually go through seatgeek or stubhub to get tickets.

Expectations for the next 5 games?
Nebrasketball1979 replied to FredsSlacks's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Agree with the sentiment that you have to evaluate this a game at a time. But...the big picture is that 4 of the next 5 are on the road (Ohio St., Rutgers, Wisconsin, Minnesota). I don't think you have to win 3 out of 4 or heck even 2 out of 4; however, the reality is that with a down Big 10 conference, we really need to have some wins that separate us from the rest of the bubble. We've checked one box with Michigan but winning a few more road games could really help separate us from the pack. There are a lot of teams that win most of their games at home - look at Maryland, they are a bubble team and have only lost once at home as well. I think winning 2 out of 4 of these games on the road along with the Iowa game (a must) would go a long ways towards putting us closer to being on the right side of the bubble. And, lets be honest, outside of Ohio St, these are road games that are very winnable. That team that showed up last night can win any game left on their schedule. Consistently having that team show up is key! -

Mark Turgeon just said that Maryland got a tough scheduling draw as they have to play all the top Big 10 teams twice. I don't remember us playing Maryland twice, unless I'm missing something?!?! -

I hope this catches some other national media's attention so we can start asserting ourselves into the conversation. Of course, backing this up with another win against Ohio St would be a great start -

Yes, they have teased us all year with sporadic spurts of potential. When we put it together for 40 minutes, I'll like our chances against just about anybody. To graduate from a good to great team, you need to find the consistency to do this night in and night out. -

Only in the final minute with us down 20. I would have seen no other possible scenario. Apparently, there was another! -

I actually think Glenn played ok in the first. He didn't score a lot but he kept the offense flowing with good pace. We need him to take care of the ball, be efficient, and pick his spots. A few steals and layups would help as well! -

I love that we are playing a little nasty and with an edge. They are playing like they believe they are better than Michigan. A refreshing change.
