  1. I haven't seen any connection to Nebraska, but maybe there is a chance he has a relationship with Kenya Hunter, since he was previously a Georgetown commit. Could be nothing, but I figured it couldn't hurt to post it. https://twitter.com/therecruitscoop/status/483783619610042369

  3. I totally understand that his video isn't increadibly impressive, but, like you said, he is still young. I think it's important to consider that at 6'11", 240 lbs as a sophomore in high school, his strength, quickness, and coordination are still very much in the process of developing. ESPN thinks highly enough of his potential that as a sophomore they have already ranked him 4-Star and an ESPN60 player...I'm not saying he is a sure thing right now, because he is still far from the finished product. But I would say he appears to be a much better prospect and much less of a reach than a kid like the one that just committed to Creighton (and probably playing vs better competition too)...And Tshimanga is class of 2016, so he has plenty of time to develop...
  4. Here is his ESPN recruiting profile: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/199879/jordy-tshimanga 4-Star, ESPN 60 player, ranked #10 Center, #57 overall prospect in the 2016 class
  5. Maurice Watson is transferring from the Boston University Terriers, not Boston College...there's a big difference.
  6. While technically this is true (the NCAA calls them "preliminary" rounds)...they're still commonly referred to as regionals. The four sites that host 4th/5th rounds host what most refer to as the regional finals. Everybody knows what Bugeaters was talking about. But having that said, is Lincoln even able to host the men's tournament in any capacity? I know that rules dictate a certain number of hotels within a certain radius of the arena, but I don't know if they're over that threshold. I was told that the host city had to have so many Hotels with 24 hr service like restaurants etc. And probably a certain number of hotels directly connected to the arena...
  7. I think that Tai adding size and strength is a HUGE benefit for Nebraska. There were alot of times that Tai had no problem burning his defender and getting to the basket off of the dribble. The problem was that at times he had a problem finishing at the rim. I think that part of this had to do with the fact that Big Ten / BCS Conference Division I basketball is much more physical than what he was used to playing. I believe that Tai adding size and strength will allow him to be more productive near the rim and finish in the face of contact. I also think most of us would agree that alot of Tai's growing pains this season were a direct result of his confidence on the court. I can't speak for Tai, but for me personally, I made significant gains is both size and strength from my freshman season to my senior season. And that size and strength gain was directly proportional to my increase of confidence. I believe that Tai will make substantial progress from his freshman to his sophomore season and I believe this increase in size and strength will be one of many important factors in his progress.
  8. Lets just grab:Ed Morrow, PF (Rivals150) Glynn Watson, PG (Rivals150) D'Jery Baptiste, C Andrew White III, SF (former Rivals150, transfer) DeShawn Freeman, SG (JUCO AA) ...and shut it down. Heck with it. Seriously though...I'd be giddy about getting 1 of those 5. 2 or more is fantasy territory. I think these are the high level prospects that Nebraska has the best chance of landing within the next year:Ed Morrow, PF (Rivals150) Markis McDuffie, SF (Rivals150) Glynn Watson, PG (Rivals150) D'Jery Baptiste, C Andrew White III, SF (former Rivals150, transfer)

  10. A lot of people have been pretty critical of Kenya Hunter's ability to recruit players to Nebraska throughout the short time that he has been here. He has only been at Nebraska for a year and it looks like he could be responsible for 2 of Nebraska's most important recruits in this class. Transfers from 2 blueblood programs Georgetown and Kansas. If Nebraska is able to land both Ayegba from Georgetown and White from Kansas, then in my opinion, he is more than pulling his own weight. As far as Kenya Hunter recruiting high school players...I believe we will start to see his results in the 2015 and 2016 class. White would be a HUGE addition to this recruiting class.
  11. Also says Nebraska might be in the mix for a Kansas transfer too...
  12. Haha. Maybe that's where Nebraska went wrong...They should've introduced him to Faux Pelini, instead of Bo Pelini...
  13. Molinari is the lead recruiter on him, so he probably has alot of defensive potential. 6'4", athletic, high-flying, shot-blocking defender that can also take it to the rim and finish with authority on offense. I think Nebraska should take a chance on him. I think the potential reward far outweighs the risk.
  14. I've followed him on Twitter and curious what rubbed you the wrong way? I didn't see anything that he posted bad about Nebraska. Just curious what posts rubbed you the wrong way?The fact that he retweeted this during his visit to Nebraska was pretty classless. It's one thing to retweet something from a UNLV fan during his visit to Nebraska that says something like "UNLV is awesome...come here..."...it's an entirely different situation when he retweets something that basically says "Nebraska sucks" while he was actually on his official visit to Nebraska (knowing that Miles and the rest of the coaching staff would likely see it). It is as disrespectful as it gets towards a coaching staff and program that are spending money, in order to give you a free mini-vacation while treating you like a celebrity...https://twitter.com/colvinis/status/465958712486543360

  16. Yeah, after his retweeting of that ridiculous tweet from the UNLV fan, I'm not holding my breath on this one...
