This is well over a month typically for NFL players and I would guess it isn’t shorter for hoops.

given whay happened when Collier was on NIT selection group, who knows how many we must get

I can't shake the year 1 vibes I get from this team...

Miles left far too big a mess behind than we could overcome year 1. You could argue we tried to do it too quickly. -
What is the fun in that. Can't link up Lindenwood, Stony Brook, and South Carolina St. tilts in February if that were the case.

I’m curious. Comparing 3 squads from last 10 years

To answer the original question, if we aren’t figuring in benches it is 13-14 for me as they had very high level ability to get stops. Operating under the assumption that you get Craig smith with that package or it changes quickly to the bottom of the list. -
Believe the seeding is done first and then they logically sort out the locations that make the most sense, starting with the top teams playing near home. I don’t think they would worry about us playing in Omaha, but also won’t they to make it happen as we won’t be high up on the pecking order.

I don’t have the time or energy to worry about Miles much, but I do know we might need him to start winning games, mountain west currently 6 teams in. Need some horrible losses to teams like San Jose st,

One thing that will go unnoticed that I noticed that I found as important as anything. Allick leadership on defense. He was constantly pointing and screaming where Battle was to his teammates. This shows me both growth in the coaching to identify who we cannot let shoot, and more importantly some tremendouys leadershop and communication by our guys to execute it. -
He cleaned up his shot mechanics. Just looks like it should go in. Just stay off heat check shots a bit.

Wonder how bad losing to Chicago st set NW back. Since we play them twice and are a really solid team, I also wonder how bad that ends up hurting as as well.

Through my work, I have come to realize that calf strains are often a lot more problematic than we would think. Think Joe Burrows this year. Could hardly move until it fully healed about two months later. Like everything, it has a fairly wide range of severity. Let’s hope it is in the milder end, but it doesn’t feel that way to me. It is obviously great news, but it is still very possible we don’t get the same Gary this season. Glad that there shouldn’t be drastic long term issues.

Lawrence was playing very well early on then got replaced by Hoiberg who was horrible most of the game. Should let him keep playing when he was going well. If we are going to get where we want it will include Lawrence. Hoiberg brought nothing until a couple threes in overtime to give us a punchers chance. -

Going to quit scrolling back after three pages. There are so many idiotic takes I can’t do it anymore. Awful loss and Gary is the cherry on top(win if he didn’t go down). -
Agree with most all of this.

Message board overreactions both ways wear me out. That being said, teams are getting into the teeth of our defense far too comfortably on the road in the league so far. Just because we have some pretty good help concepts a lot, does not mean we don’t have to take giving resistance very seriously staying in front of our guy.

The three by Allick was critical. Then next time down he could have fired again but knew we could do better, leading to a Wilcher triple. Hell of a sequence by him! And how about Wilcher. His shot looks better to me than at any time here. It just looks like it should go in, -
At least this year we might be deep enough to get away with this nonsense.

just glad to survive this, I really thought we wewre going to lose very early in 2nd half. -
That result should be beneficial down the road since we play NW twice and Purdue once.

Great last episode on the Scarlet Shootaround previewing Creighton, reviewing last two games and they had Sam Griesel on as their first guest. It is a tremendous pod. They know what they are talking about. -
