A reasonably close loss will easily keep them in q1

One good thing is that we were the only game going yesterday so if the selection folks were watching, we certainly looked the part of an NCAA tourney team,

Really good job by our guards and Williams of coming down to clear the defensive glass when our bigs boxed out. We have to have that to have reasonable success on the glass since we don’t have any prototypical elite rebounders. -

I have my doubts but have been wrong many many times. -

Our defense while the game was in doubt was absolutely spectacular. Huge props to Loenser! -
Yeah you might be right. The general point I was trying to make is how these teams play. It is different than the Big 10. And it looks like it could be very problematic for us to stay in front of.

Just a random post and didnt know where to post it. I worry very much about how offenses attack in all of these other leagues. They dont go through the post as much. We(and other big 10 teams) need to be able to defend the pick and roll actions extremely well. I think that is why the Big 10 struggles recently in the dance. It is a hard adjustment to make. All of these teams seem toi have a lot better point guards in general than we see in our league. I am very concerned that we are athletic enough to deal with such things.

Yeah that is a twenty percent shot that happened to go in this time.

Virginia, Miami, Grand Canyon all losing and Ole Miss getting blasted at home cannot be bad things I would think.

I got hopes up when our odds of making it steamed a good bit at a sportsbook the day of, so was hopeful someone knew something. Instead we went on the road in NIT:)
-
Nate Loenser being tasked with the defense and much more responsibility at the end of that season with Bryce, and relieving Sadler of much responsibility really helped move this thing forward as well. We instantly started playing at least a little d at the end of that season and got some wins.
-
There is no circumstance where we get high enough to get placed there “on purpose” imo. There is a chance they will place is there, but if it is by design it won’t be because our resume is deserving of it.

tremendous! and sort of flipped that separation in the process so hard to fall drastically!

Just not the right thing to do is the reason. -

We need PBA to be completely rocking these next two home games. Playing 2 very dangerous teams and can easily lose to either of them. The average fan might not realize it. We have to help bringh these guys home. -
Yeah hell why not. I have plenty of time during the non football portion of the year.
-
It won't be very big as there was some separation in our area of the rankings as far as the raw data goes. I would expect a move by one or two spots tops, not accounting for other action tonight.

Another very underlooked play was when he went to the ground to dig one out while it was still very close. I think Ware was involved in the play. -

I am on record saying we need Lawrence when people were calling for him to be benched for Hoiberg. He gives us things nobody else does. So happhy for him that he had a game like this. He is a big part of our future as well hopefully. -

There is no way in hell that our chances of getting a bid would be affected by 4.5 percent based on the outcome of that s car st/ Howard tilt, if that is what is being suggested here. If so, there is a glitch in the matrix.
-
We are at a spot in the rankings where the raw numbers suggest it is going to be much tougher to gain ground than lose ground. Decent separation between us and St. John’s ahead of us.
