I think they need their heads examined.
-
Well put. That is a better way of wording my thoughts.
-
Longer this goes, the less faith I have in the intel. Feel like this is a pretty big piece.
-
These are good things imo. Watch a lot of NBA and they shoot like this. They aren’t elevating very high on jumpers. And if you aren’t open enough for this to work it isn’t a good shot anyway.

I don’t think it is really worth worrying about who he bumps out. It will all be determined by who improves and how the team blends together. Fir what it is worth he might not care about starting since he only started 13 games this year. More about minutes imo.

Not sure I have ever see the great word "eschewing" used in a better fashion. Kudos. -
2022 F Isaac Traudt - Virginia->Creighton

Pry depends on how good he is. If he is pretty good then yes. -

I get sick of non Omaha kids saying they are coming home going to Creighton. Creighton isn’t home for GI. UNL is. -
This is taking pussywhipped to a strange level. Both very young college kids. I don’t quite get it. hopefully If he chooses then he is doing it for basketball.
-
I would have thought have thought so too until I saw in his Arizona bio a big old link to his NIL page. Not sure what is different between him and Tominaga, if anything.
-
Obviously this is a thread about basketball related statewide impact.
-
From Washnut in regards to Kerr. -My biggest concern for Nebraska is where things stand with their NIL operation. I've heard West Virginia's collective brought a substantial offer to the table. Will 1890 be able to come up with something at least in the same ballpark? I hope you know more than him that our NIL is in good shape. I have my doubts it is as strong as you think. Would love to be wrong.

You can root for Creighton if you want, Everyone has to make that determination for themselves. If you think it is good for us to lose Traudt to them, all power to you.

Creighton has to have the room for him. Knowing what he wants to do and what will happen aren’t necessarily the same thing. Also you are making big assumptions that schools were certainly cheating by making improper contact. -
I am curious what kind of checkbook we have for hoops. Not sure being part of the collective means very much is allocated to the cause. We badly need it to be.
-
Our offense will be different without Walker. We need a traditional passer.

For me it is the fans. Many of them that aren’t Jayskers are just so pompous. Then for the tins of Jayskers(not all) that hate Nebraska basketball and root against us while being Husker football fans and volleyball. You can like Creighton and root for Huskers also. But so many of these kind will be back to red in hoops if and when the programs directions flip. Then there is also the fact that we are in many recruiting battles with them. Battles that so many Husker football and volleyball fans are actively hoping we lose. Admittedly it was a little harder this year to hate them with Scheierman being an Aurora kid I have communicated with a little over the years and being a huge fan of Nembhard’s brother being a die hard Pacer fan. Hopefully, they are gone soon so normalcy can ensue.

Not to mention what a bunch of dumbshits. Having your little kid syndrome outweigh your ability to understand that you are much better off playing Nebraska in San Antonio than a very good and possibly underseeded Baylor team.
-
I can’t believe people think that shouldn’t be called. Completely obvious foul that clearly affects your ability to shoot. You can’t get shoved from behind while shooting and not have it called. Very easy call.
-
What really wasn’t fun to watch was that team play defense until Nate took it over late in the year and we won some games.

NCAA Tournament Needs (Building a Team)

Wilcher does have some ability to use his body around the bucket. I think he can make a big step forward at some point potentially. We could sure use that. -

That piece would be a quick leaping guy that causes havoc in various ways. Most of these teams have one. Thinking in the mold of the Rutgers center(obviously would be a poor mans version of him). Gary might be a tad too small to accomplish what I am thinking of. -
NCAA Tournament Needs (Building a Team)

The things needed for the tourney are not necessarily what is needed to get through our league. That is why the league itself has struggled a bit in very recent years in the tourney. it seems as though all the big ten defenses are sort of designed to stop the types of teams in our league. Then in tourney they are running into one more skilled guy or a little more speed and quickness. That skill and extra speed probably wouldn’t hold up over the physical big ten grind. But it causes big problems for our league in the dance. I think we are actually well positioned to play in a tourney game if we made it as our offense and defense are a bit unique. -
