The Skinny
This is the last tune-up game for the Huskers before they run the gauntlet by taking on Cincinnati, GW or Tenn, and Miami over the course of 5 days. The Golden Lions aren't a particularly good team, but their combination of size and fouling propensity makes them a foe the Huskers shouldn't overlook.
Arkansas PB trots out a starting lineup that runs 6-3, 6-6, 6-8, 6-8, and 6-9, runs primarily zone, and is averaging 28 fouls per game. Look for the Huskers to once again prove they've completely transformed from last year by attacking with the pass instead of trying to beat the zone off the dribble. The Golden Lions aren't anywhere near as good as Cincinnati but their overall bulk might give Nebraska a feel for how well they'll match up against the physical BearCats.
Arkansas PB has been blown out by Michigan St/Cincy but they did stick around with Okie St for a half. The Huskers are going to want to play a bunch of guys limited minutes tonight in order to conserve their legs for the next week so it's in our best interest to put away a team we could realistically hold under 20 points in a half. Look for Nebraska to not overlook the Lions, make some free throws, and get ready for Thanksgiving in New York.
Prediction: Nebraska 80 - SE Louisiana 58 with a 84% chance of Runzas
