We held their primary scorers pretty well. Good D by KC, and Nat, plus our subs stayed on them pretty well. Wisky's Johnson kept them in the game. She had a good night shooting. Their subs did a nice job for them.

Jess was getting their attention all night. Didn't get the ball much either. After her big night at Mich....seemed to take a breather.  There's no point getting her hammered all game. Connie pulled her out from the basket. Jess's one drive down the right side that was called a charge....baloney. Interesting she never shot a free throw.

Nat is a machine. Not just the 3's, but her overall game. She pretty much just took over....Thanks Nat. ....Glad she's on our team.

RT looks hurt....she'll probably have to sit practices from here on out, if she's going to play at all.

And Allie...she's even better than a few weeks ago. Had a great night...rebounding like crazy. (14 I think) She's really become focused and highly competitive....and confident. You could see the determination on her face. Didn't used to be that way. The blocked shot late in the game....a highlight reel block....smack down !!

This win puts us in a much better place..tied for 4th in league I think. 6th win in row. Got to continue to grind it out.

Had to miss tonight's broadcast.  Can Romeo survive playing 40 minutes a night?  Didn't look like the bench was used much after checking the box score.

After the 1st qtr, when we had a big lead, Wisky was swapping baskets with us, and staying competitive. Connie must have been a little uncomfortable, and stayed with the starters.

Jess had an off night, otherwise if she could have hit for average pts, it would have been a different game. But that was Wiskys plan....slow down Jess.

Good win tonight!  Wisconsin came in with the mindset they had to shut down Jessica. That plan would have worked but they forgot about Allie and how Natalie can shoot from way down town!

It is so much fun to watch Natalie when she shoots the ball like she did tonight Good to have Rachel T back in the fold too.

Call it growing pains or whatever but the Huskers have got to get better on the defensive end. Wisconsin drove the middle of the lane way too often for some nice uncontested 5-10 foot shots.

Looked like Rachel Blackburn may have twisted her knee in the corner right before she went out for good in the 4th quarter. She started limping right away once it happened. Hope she didn’t hurt it any further as she gives us some good minutes off the bench for being only about 70% healthy.

I thought Jessica looked a little fatiqued tonight at times, hence the reason she missed some shots that she normally makes. Hope the long season grind isn’t starting to catch up with her.

Future Husker Hannah Whitish all the way from Wisconsin in the house tonight!!

Wish I could have seen it!  (Too bad BTN Plus doesn't archive games for later viewing, but I think they show highlights!)

One thing that needs to be mentioned, is that Jess had a team leading 7 assists.  An assist is worth two points so she scored 22 if you look at it that way, which I do.  Most post don't get many assists.

Another thing worth mentioning is, during this 6 game winning streak Natalie (Iron-woman) has played 229 minutes of a possible 240 minutes. She sat out 8 minutes of the Illinois game and 3 against Purdue and played all 40 in the other 4.
