According to my math 42 days before the first WBB game would be one week from tomorrow on Oct. 3rd.  That's the earliest they could start on less i'm missing something.  I haven't read anything official. Anybody know for sure?  Excited for it to start to see how well we have recovered from injuries and maybe get our first press conference from the coach in over 6 months.

I'm not totally sure but this is NCAA's dates from a couple of years ago......B1G could be slightly different but not earlier.

Women’s basketball teams are allowed begin practice 40 days before their first game.

Let's do this!

First practice is this afternoon at 1 o'clock!

Here's to hoping all the Huskers can stay relatively healthy prior to the first game and those with nagging injuries now will be ready in short order.

maybe someone can set the record straight, but, didn't i hear/read somewhere that coach yori made a comment on KClark that she does have some "bone-on-bone" with that knee? IF it is true, that would be the injury that would concern me the most. it does make me wonder just how much contribution they will be able to get out of KC. Not to mention how the injury will affect her play on the court. i hope i am wrong, and wish KC all the best with the Huskers this season!

She did indeed say that.  From what I have heard It will be something that needs to be "managed" the whole season.  She will never be full speed/100% again.  I didn't realize when we signed her how bad her injury was.  Hopefully she can hit 3s against zones, and we can protect her a little on D.
