I wanted to stay up and watch this game but I just couldn't do it. I had a long day of laying on the couch watching basketball/napping. It took it's toll.

I watched that ugly 21-20 first half. Seeing Standhardinger go wildly into the lane, shoot from his shoulder and get rejected out of bounds really took me back. That said he was much more poised than I remember him here.

Maybe it was simply a bad game for the two, but honestly, I was not impressed with either Christian or Vander. Vander had a nice little jump hook in the lane, for one basket, but generally Miami was the much better team and had better talent.

I stayed up and watched most of this game and watching the game only reinforced my opinion that we are better off without Christian. It appears that Hawaii is better with him, though, so it's kind of a win-win situation I guess.
