BTN 15-16 Preview

I listened to the "Talking Heads" on the BTN last night as they weighed in on next years B1G season. Their Top 5

 

1. Maryland

2. Michigan St. 

3. Indiana

4. Wisconsin

5. Illinois

 

Then they talked a VERY long time about how good Michigan would be. They talked about OSU in the Top 20 even with no Russell. They talked about Iowa, Northwestern and Purdue making the tourney. They talked about Penn St. There were three teams they didn't talk about at all. Minnesota, Nebraska and Rutgers. And funny, when it was over I felt like I was sliding my feet into a comfortable, old pair of slippers.... GBR

Maryland wont be in the top 4.   Losing Wells is going to kill them and they got alot of breaks this year.   Thats even assuming Trimble comes back

I must say I disagree with this....Trimble has already said he is coming back and they just landed a top 10 recruit in Diamond Stone.  Also sounds like Layman will be returning.

Plus, they have Diamond Stone coming in next year.  They'll be top 4 for sure, probably the unanimous choice to win the league.

Trimble and Layman both returning to the Terps as mentioned above. And how bad can a player be named Diamond Stone? I've seen some pre-season Top 20s with Maryland in the Top 5.

It seems like we've seen several teams come out of nowhere this season (i.e. Maryland) because of stellar play from incomings.

 

Nebraska is an unknown this year (much like 2013/14).
