Coaches kid Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Mods - just read the rule on including the name of the recruit in the topic. Please delete my earlier thread. If you get a chance, check out Coach Miles' twitter post re: "help is on the way." It links to a nice discussion by ESPN's college recruiting analyst Paul Biancardi about Big Ten recruits to watch. He tabs Glynn Watson as a player everybody will know at this time next year. It includes some video of Watson. Appears to have great handles and is a point guard who can distribute and also score. He also mentions Ed Morrow and states that Nebraska has a very nice under the radar class. Exciting to to know a recruiting talking head believes we have help on the way. Quote
golfer3 Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 Watson, Morrow and T Smith are the future of Big Red. Forget Petteway. After arriving in Lincoln, I hope Watson and Morrow go to the training center and starting shooting before they unpack thier vehicle. We are going to need them to avoid another season like this one. Miles ahead of the rest Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 You didn't even mention White III. I'm not sure forget petteway is the answer cause he can still be a very major contributor obviously if he chooses to stay next season Quote
busticket Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 I tend to think Petteway will be much better in the "Pippen" role than "Jordan". Terran forces the issue a lot, and some of that is probably due to his limited supporting cast. If Andrew White can be our primary guy, I think Terran's turnovers problems will go down, as well as his 24' bomb attempts he like to jack up each game. Terran should get much better looks next season. AuroranHusker 1 Quote

Is this a serious post? Maybe you should go back and watch film of last season and any point this season when TP wasn't on the floor and our ability to produce points. TP will be fine with more around him, especially a more refined t smith, shooters in aw3 and hopefully some others, and the added athleticism around the paint in Morrow. Quote

49r Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 For anyone interested, the Illinois boys basketball super sectionals are tonight and you can actually watch the Simeon and St. Joseph games online ($$$). They're available here: http://www.nfhsnetwork.com/explore/upcoming You'll want to filter by state and sport. Subscriptions are $10 a day or $15 for the month. I haven't personally used this site, I'm only going by what I've read on other sites. But for those anxious to get a preview of Watson and Morrow, this might be a good option. jdostal 1 Quote
