PimpMario Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 http://www.nycbuckets.com/2015/01/nit-bracketology-jan-26-2015-edition/ On January 26th after breathing msu they had us an 8 seed. We have work to do. I would like to see us with a 30 second shot clock. Quote
FredsSlacks Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 We're a lock for the CBI though! Quote
AuroranHusker Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 We're a lock for the CBI though! Please, no talk of CBI's or C.I.T.'s... please & thank you. Quote
PimpMario Posted February 8, 2015 Author Report Posted February 8, 2015 We're a lock for the CBI though! Please, no talk of CBI's or C.I.T.'s... please & thank you. I know it is hard to imagine this team in the postseason after the psu game. BUT I think we still have an outside shot at the cbi. We will have to pull a few upsets and probably get ton16 wins but it is possible. Pinnacle bank arena has to make us an attractive to the cbi. Quote
hhcmatt Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I can tell you if our season ends with a CBI/CIT invitation, we will decline. Quote
hskr4life Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I can tell you if our season ends with a CBI/CIT invitation, we will decline. Yep... There is no reason to take this bid. Why play in a tournament that could be used in negative recruiting against us? Quote
PimpMario Posted February 8, 2015 Author Report Posted February 8, 2015 I can tell you if our season ends with a CBI/CIT invitation, we will decline. We can't go to the CIT unless we first accept an invitation to the Missouri Valley Conference Quote
colhusker Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 We are not an bubble team, we are bad. Quote
brfrad Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I think we should play in the CBI. We have to play all our games on the road, though. Quote
atskooc Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I think we should play in the CBI. We have to play all our games on the road, though. You said "games" as though you think we'd win one. Quote

jimmykc Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 This thread seems a bit negative. Plus I can think of no reason to involve this team in a third rate postseason tournament. What for? To prepare them for next season, when freshmen will play critical roles? To work on our offensive skills? To beat a series of mid major teams who we will be expected to beat anyway? To please a rabid fan base which is hungry to extend this memorable season? To proudly raise a CBI banner in the new arena? I dare anyone to name a positive about involving ourselves in one of these tournaments. Quote
aksarben Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Pinnacle Bank Arena may be attractive but I can assure you that if we end up in the CBI or CIT that building will be half empty if not more - Bank on It! Quote
