Boys these next three games before playing at Wisconsin are must wins for us. @Iowa, Rutgers, Illinois. This week will make or break the season for Nebrasketball honestly I don't think you can afford to lose even one of the next three games coming up. @Wisconsin most likely will be a loss lets not kid our selves Wisconsin has got to much scoring power for us to defend but you know if we win that game @Wisconsin consider that a bonus. Miles knows these next three are must wins to stay within NIT/Tourney Conversation the Indiana loss at home really hurt us, but if we can some how win the next three that will make up for the Indiana loss. So by Jan 20th game vs Minnesota @ home we are 3-2 that's a good spot to be in.

Heck with the way things are looking I would take 2 of the next 3 and run for the hills like we just stole something. 2-2 would be something. If we can hover around .500 in league play somehow, that most likely puts you in a pack with a whole bunch of other teams that are beating each other up, and gives you the opportunity to spurt on a hot stretch and leap the pack come seasons end. Right now, I would take any old win.

Winning at Iowa is not a must win in any way, shape or form.

 

Now, winning Thursday at home against Rutgers is a must win.

The only MUST wins are most all our home games, and stealing a few on the road.  Do that and we are at 9-9 or 10-8.  Take care of business the rest of the way at home.

 

Tonight, as others have said, is not a MUST win, but is a nice bonus if we do win!

Other than Bucky, this Conference is soft in the middle. We need to finish at LEAST 5th I'd say to make the Dance. I don't see a B1G team with a losing record in Conference getting an invite (which has happened in the past). Winning tonight at Iowa would be nice and certainly doable, but game 2 of your Conference slate is never a must win.

Unless you think we're still in the running for an at-large bid, this is not a must win.  It's only a must-win if we're trying to burnish an NCAA tourney resume, which, at this point, we ain't.
