Fremont loses 59-44.  Unofficially, Jess with 21 points and 10 rebounds.  I guess it takes three D1 recruits on defense to keep her from scoring over 30.

After 3 it's Fremont 40 Millennium 26 Shepard is getting shit kick out of her and no fouls being called, the refs have warned the Fremont crowd about complaining the lack of fouls being called.

I will bet that Fremont wins 55 - 40 and Jess ends up with 32 points and 16 rebounds. You must be watching a tape delay.

And she gets the shit kicked out of her as well. After I watched it I seen the score you posted, I had just got home from the Womens game and seen that it was on. :wacko:

What was the score?

55- 54 Poly, Fremont scored with 5.5 seconds and then let the poly school long the length of the floor for a layup with no pressure at all. Fremont had 9 fouls on them.

Just reading the article in the paper.  Didn't realize they were playing the #2 team in the nation.  Too bad they didn't finish it out.  Jess had 36 points and 11 boards and was named to the all tourney team.

Brain fart on the part of the coach, the players, or a little of both?

they came out of a time out with no inbounds pressure they were set at 1/2 court. but let her dribble around them. Poly was in the bonus so had Fremont fouled it was a one & one, don't know they didn't try that. Maybe she misses one or makes both, but at least you have shot at winning basket.

I sometimes daydream about next year:  Rachel firing the ball into Jess in the lane.  We will see some pretty passes I'm sure.

I just wonder how far Jess could take them this year. You would have Cady, Sample, T, Theroit, And Shepard, That would be a tough starting five. Then you have Jeffiers,Romeo,Havers, Kalenta off the bench.
