I tried to initiate a discussion about this but it's impossible to speculate. I could be way wrong but it's my belief based on the information that we would be a morning-early afternoon game on Sunday if we pull through against Baylor. ISU/North Carolina would be the sure bet for game #2 after ours on Sunday. There's too much firepower potentially playing on Sunday out in Spokane and San Diego on the west coast and Raleigh and Orlando on the east coast for the TV people to care too much about a bluejays-huskers matchup. Arizona, UCLA, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, VCU, Virginia, and Wichita state would all play on Sunday if they won.

Tough to say. Those first 2+ games are national broadcasts on CBS with no other games being broadcast. Additionally the first two games would have to come from the same location with 11 am and 1:30 pm Central start times, They won't be starting the San Diego regional games at 9 am Pacific, so that rules out Arizona-Okla St/Gonzaga and UCLA-VCU. 

 

So the other options for those early CBS national broadcasts are

• St Louis - Wichita-Kentucky/Kan St + Kansas-N Mex/Stanford
• Raleigh - Duke-UMass/Iowa/Tenn + Virginia-Memphis/GWash
• San Antonio - NU/Baylor-CU + N Carolina-Iowa St

If I had to guess, I'd say the St Louis region gets those early CBS time slots, with the chance of a #1 seed going down. But I don't think there's a pair of must-see games in there. NU-CU with the rivalry aspect and with Dougie  would be compelling, plus you'd get N Carolina vs Hoiberg as the 2nd game. You'd have big loud crowds I'd have to think in San Antonio, so that makes for good TV and would be somewhat appealing to CBS as well. But not a lot of TVs in the state of Nebraska.

 

The other five games start between 5 and 8:30 pm Central on the Turner tri-headed monster - perhaps they'd pick UNC-ISU for CBS at 4 pm, then NU-CU would be 6:30 on TruTV for example. 

 

Really tough to say, could be anywhere in there. Then upsets on Friday could further complicate matters. If I had to guess, I'd say 6:30 on TruTV.

Can't wait to find out!! That matchup would be awesome, especially w/ the prospects of making the Sweet 16 for 1st time for the state of Nebraska... CAN'T WAIT. IT WILL BE EPIC.
